Was given a room where someone was already staying. Must have a glitch in the system somewhere. Room was fine. It was clean and comfortable, but don’t use the make up removers they provide as they burn the heck out of your eyes. Beer caps all over the grass in parking lot and someone got their truck broke into. Overheard someone say kids do it every night looking for guns. Memphis itself is an awful place. It’s really too bad because the city has so much to offer but it is full of crime. I hope I never have to come back.

Our trip was great! We traveled to Memphis to attend a family member's birthday party. However, we had time to explore the city. The hotel is within walking distance from Beale Street, the stadium, and other entertainment. Parking was secure and was free onsite. Breakfast wasn't bad and the staff refilled items as needed. The workout room was spacious and had the expected equipment. The room was comfortable, with plenty of towels, hot water etc. We did not experience any issues that some other travelers mentioned.

Trish was absolutely amazing. I learned of a death in the family while on vacation and the staff was amazing at checking on me and offering me support. I always chose La Quita for its safety features and cleanliness.

La Quinta is for the business traveler so not many amenities. Not ideal for family with kids if you have expectations for activities. No food nearby but Peabody and Beale St is walkable. We didn’t venture out after dark because I just don’t the area. If with a group then all good. For a little more money with kids you might consider Bass Pro Pyramid hotel. Wednesday night must be bike night on Beale. Late until about 11:30 pm you could hear for hours motorcycles going down Union Ave. Parking garages near Beale if you don’t want to walk.

Lobby smelled like cigarette smoke, the front desk people were beyond rude. Pool was out of order when we got there, we have a kid so it was a deal breaker for us. Orbitz was ready to let us move but the front desk wanted us to stay at least one night because they may have pool fixed. Even though she just finished telling me its been off limits for 5 days and they have no idea when itll be open. The keys they gave us didn’t actually work so we never made it in the room. Orbitz eventually moved us over to Hotel indigo which was fantastic so besides spending 2 hours on the phone while Orbitz battled with the front desk it worked out. Questionable people, drug addicts hanging out in lobby, rude unprofessional front desk staff.

We are a family of 4 that stayed here. It was very clean & the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was some of the best breakfast we have had at a hotel. We highly recommend this place.

My family and I visited Memphis for spring break. The hotel was just great for families with kids. The location was good and easy to get to. Staff was friendly. A pretty good value overall.

Sagar I believe is the gentelmans name. Simply some of the best hotel staff we have ever had. The kind of staff you eould expect at a much much nicer hotel. Very helpful and went above and beyond every day of our trip. The bad of the hotel is the indoor pool is freezing cold so my children could not enjoy a swim.

March 2023: Travellers consisted of 2 adults, a child and a dog. The room was spotless, had clean linens and smelled fresh. Check in was easy. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent. Please add hot chocolate mix since not everyone drinks coffee, and maybe serve until 10am on weekdays for late risers (after driving 10 hrs the day before). We would definitely stay here again.
