Check in was the worst experience. The hotel was overbooked. Instead of the 2 queen rooms requested they only had one available. They offered us a king room, but we are a family of 7. They offered to comp an additional room and keep us on the same floor. When we finally made it to the room they assigned us, there was already someone in it. We had to start the check in process again. Check in took well over 30 minutes. When we finally got into rooms we were spread out on separate floors and the hallways smelled like there had been recent water damage. Overall, my worst hyatt experience.

Nice hotel close to downtown. Had a cornhole and Jenga in the pool area that the kids enjoyed. The table that the Jenga was on had a broken piece on the table that should be replaced.

The location of this hotel is great, very close to Beale street. It was very clean. Loved the shower, but it doesn’t offer any privacy when stepping out of it. It’s in the middle of the room. It was fine for a couple, but families might not like that. Maybe other rooms are different? The valet was very quick and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to couples who want to be within walking distance to many bars and restaurants.

When we arrived we had to walk through a lot of people smoking cigarettes and weed in front which made my wife ill, she literally threw up in the rock garden behind the lobby. Second the check in girl was on her phone with a friend and I had to wait until she was finished with her conversation before she would check me in. I got two rooms one for me and one for my two kids 16 and 18. I asked for a third key to our rooms so that they could get to me and I could get to them. (We were on separate floors so you had to have a key to access the floor from the elevator. She refused, I never heard of such a thing. When I asked to see the manager she just said “ she’s over there and pointed across the street. With attitude she said “see if she’ll give you another key”. I will not be revisiting this hotel.

We came to check in at two o clock. Was told check in want until three which was fine so we took our kids with us to walk the riverfront. We came back at three to check in and were told only a few more minutes which was fine. TWO hours later at 5 we got into one of our two rooms. We were not able to get our second room until after six PM. We drove ten hours from Iowa and were exhausted and just wanted to relax. Instead we sat in the lobby with kids for half the night. The facility itself and rooms were beautiful. The rooftop bar was amazing. I just wish check in was on time.

Excellent hotel with extremely comfy bedding and beds! The shower was fabulous too…I was here alone and nervous about walking to Beale St. There were plenty of people around and super friendly. I even parked across the street for less money without any issues. There’s a bit of construction going on nearby on Beale so it felt a little isolating to walk that one block alone…so I found a family to walk with. I will be back! The rooftop bar was awesome too!

Our first impression of the hotel was GREAT. Reginald checked us in and was so friendly and welcoming. Overall, our visit was good. The property is clean, our kids loved the pool, and everything was comfortable. The main reason for our visit was a show at the Orpheum, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more convenient to that.
When we got to the room at 3, the tv didn’t work. We tried to call the front desk, but the phone didn’t work either. So we called on our cell and we’re told someone would be up. Someone did come right up, but was unable to fix it and said he would send someone else. We asked if we needed to be present and were told no. We went to the pool, out to dinner, and a few other places and when we got back around 9, it still wasn’t fixed. We called again and they offered to switch us to a new room. I guess technically that was a nice gesture, but we weren’t moving rooms at 9 with two small children. It was a small inconvenience on an otherwise really nice stay.
Also, we assumed from the listing that valet parking was the only option here. There is a public garage or toy across the street that we found to be much more affordable for our stay. ($16 as opposed to $32 plus tips for valet)
