Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville Vanderbilt, TN

Took child to college. Nice stay.

We stayed there in a 2 bdr family suite. It was great. It was clean. Location was convenient. Breakfast had good options. The pool was perfect for the whole family. We paid $35 parking fee for the 4 days we stayed. No complaints. Wednesday they had live music and wine and snacks on the lobby. It was great.

My family and i stayed for the weekend for a concert, we had a great experience. The staff were friendly and courteous, i would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Nashville

Booked the 2 bedroom suite& it did not disappoint us. Plenty of room for 2 adults,3 kids,& a dog. Right next to vanderbilt university which is beautiful& has plenty of grassy areas for kids& dogs to run & play. I would definitely go back to this hotel again.

Perfect for families

We had the best stay for our first trip to Nashville at Homewood Suites in Vandy. My family and I (2 adults, 3 kids) were able to check in on Christmas Day many hours earlier than normal check-in time which was amazing from the start. Usually hotels don’t have anything available or make you wait until at least an hour or two before their check-in. All staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. The complimentary shuttle service within 2 miles was so convenient and the drivers were all so nice and helpful. Our suite was clean and large for our family of five. Anything we needed or ran out of was just a phone call away. The property felt safe and there are many things to do within walking distance of the hotel like the Centennial Park, breakfast, coffee and lunch/dinner options. We ate the free continental breakfast a couple times and there was something for everyone to choose from and the dining area was clean with a lot of tables/seating. Our children loved the pool and my husband enjoyed the convenience and options of the 24 hours gym. We are already planning our adult only trip and plan to book our stay here again! Big separate rooms are suitable for family.

My wife and I went to the state of Tennessee to help out a friend and his family move into a new home. We both love and only will stay at a Hilton Hotels. I chose this location from the reviews that indicated that it was a superb Hilton. Not the case. First of all, the hotel did not have the room that I reserved with Hotels.com. I reserved a studio/suite which was not available to me. They told me that Hotels.com reserved the room that was not available and advised Hilton to give me an upgraded room. The only upgrade was 100 square feet. Second, the deadbolt on the door did not lock into place. Third, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles that was attached to the shower wall all broke off. Forth, the actual shower head was loose and was sliding back into the wall and appeared that if you move it too much, it may land into the tub. Finally, the hotel did not have an ice machine. The room had a full kitchen which the refrigerator had a built-in ice machine that did not work. If you wanted ice, you had to purchase a Ziplock bag of ice from the lobby. The front desk was very nice and provided my wife with four alcoholic beverages at no charge due mistake on the room reservation. The breakfast was okay...nothing to brag about. The bed was extremely comfortable along with the comfortable pillows. We have never stayed in a Homewood Suites by Hilton, and I must say I probably will never again. I will stick with Hilton Resorts.

Hotel was absolutely great for the family. Lots of restaurants, great inhouse hot breakfast, and huge rooms with lots of space. This hotel is also directly located across the street from Vanderbilt University.
