DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Nashville Airport

My stay could have been better the pool had so many bugs in it my kids didn’t want to get in and the shower gel shampoo and conditioner was empty they should have checked other then those two things it was ok the cookies were the best

I liked the hotel because it was very convenient to Opry Mills Mall, and my kids liked it cause of the pool. And I liked it cause of the bar and the food is excellent and they give you great portions.

Nothing fancy, nice size suite. Considering it sleeps 6 people, we were only given 2 sets of towels and shampoo so had to go to the lobby to ask for another set for our family of 4. Main phone in suite didn’t work. No free coffee in lobby, only 2 coffees in the room.

Our high school rugby teams and their families stayed at this hotel. Our room was clean and we have everything that we needed. We ordered lunch from the hotel and it was good! Breakfast also had a nice variety of food to choose from as well. Evert was very helpful and gave great service! I even used their small gym. They have a Peloton bike and I got a great workout while trying it out. The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was the $14 parking charge.

We never leave bad reviews but we had a terrible experience here. First, the toilet loudly ran all night. We tried jiggling the handle but nothing helped. Next, our neighbors were very loud until 1 am causing us to have to have our son move from the sofa bed he was trying to sleep on into our enclosed bedroom so we could close the door to muffle the sound. He ended up having to sleep on the floor because of this. It helped the noise for a few hours but at 5am we were awakened to the sound of Spanish music blasting from our neighbors. Their music was so loud that they had to yell over the music to talk to each other. I called the front desk who said they would take care of it. I heard them call the room but our neighbors didn't answer the phone. Then the front desk person came up to the room but our neighbors wouldn't answer their door. Music didn't stop. We ended up packing up our kids and leaving at 6am because it was so loud! We got 3 hours of sleep and had to drive 13 hours to finish our journey home - we were needlessly more exhausted than we needed to be. As we left we were told by the front desk we would receive a phone call from management later that day to make it right to us, but they never called. In addition to the noise issues here, the sofa had stains all over it, walls were dirty, grout around the shower was rotting, they only have an outdoor pool that isn't heated so it's way too cold to use this time of year leaving our kids disappointed.

-Pet fee seemed excessively high-$50 -No breakfast provided like Hampton inn, Residence in. and other similar quality hotels - wanted $18 for essentially the same buffet you get free with the others. Would not even allow my 22 month old granddaughter have fruit off of it-$18 for her. too. -$14 for one night of surface lot parking. Most hotels of this level, do not charge for parking -Noted when we made the res. That we had 3 adults and a toddler. Only 2 bath towels were provided. Our $200 room was nearly $300 when all was said and done.
