Gatlinburg Town Square by Exploria Resorts

It was amazing. The kids loved it.

Hotel was dated, but clean. Pool area was in need of repairs, with pieces of concrete flaking off, but didn't stop us from swimming. Room was in great shape, with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, it was more like an apartment than a hotel. It was clean and the beds were comfortable for the whole family. Kitchen area had a few pots and pans to cook with along with a stove, oven and microwave and full sized fridge. The details regarding laundry facilities weren't clear, but we were able to locate and utilize them after inquiring.

The parking is an issue and there are several repairs that need to be addressed. For the price and our family size we felt like it was ok.

My family has visited the Gatlinburg area on many occasions. On this visit we intentionally stayed at Town Square because of the location and access to down town Gatlinburg. We enjoyed the in-door and out-door pool, we enjoyed the ability to cook in the room and save on dining cost. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay that has resort amenities, this is the place for you.

The actual appearance of the room and amenities did not match the online photos. The room is in need of renovation. Did not feel safe with the lock on the door. It was easy to just open the door and the dead bolt open. We didn't have any little ones but if we did a small child could open the door. No pool. Parking didn't feel safe. Also I have not recieved any receipt from Expedia. Location was great.

This property was perfect for my family get away! It was nice having 2 separate bed rooms and bathrooms, and having the living area and kitchen was great! We will be staying here again!

**NOTE re: the property. There are TWO buildings on opposite sides of the street. We booked 2 queens for our family of 4 not knowing this. It can be an issue for families w kids (like us). The initial room we were given was in the building where you check in (on the opposite side of the street from the pool & amenities). That room was dismal & not at all like the pics. We inquired and were moved to the opposite side with a king bed & fold out sofa. That unit looked like the pictures and was lovely. They did say they’d up charge us for the switch, but my husband refused to accept it. All in all they were accommodating & it all worked out well. We’d stay again, but book the king w sofa sleeper to ensure being closer to amenities.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel offered a lot of activities for kids (basketball, indoor & outdoor pool, giant checkers, ping pong. Parking spaces are smaller than average and the garage is not easy to maneuver. The rooms are outdated and the carpet grossed me out a little. The couch had metal sticking out of the arm. Navigating the property is confusing and a lot of guests were wandering around asking other guests if they knew which stairs or elevators to take. Some signs would have been helpful.

We were very pleased staying here! It was us two adults and our 3 young children and we all had plenty of space! The apartments were very nice and clean, I appreciated the full kitchen complete with dishes/silverware/pans. Loved having a balcony. We really appreciated no cost laundry as we had not expected to do laundry but with 1 child and 2 babies, we ended up having to do laundry anyway. The indoor pool was a very nice size and our child loved it. We felt safe above all else staying here. Will definitely stay here anytime we are in Gatlinburg. We loved it!

My family and i really enjoyed our stay! Our rooms were very clean and spacious! We'll definitely be back again!
