Summerset Hotel & Suites

The hotel had pool and hot tub as usual in a family hotel full of kids. But hotel was very quiet off the road.

This hotel is always my go to stay when i am visiting family.

They don’t disclose what their pet fee is on their website and when we arrived we found out it was $35 USD per pet. So were charges $70 USD for a small dog and medium dog! That doubled the cost of the room! We had booked on expedia and could not cancel. That rate is highest of any pet fees I have paid. Hotels don’t charge ‘children’ fees!

Love this hotel. I remember staying there when it was first built and its still in great condition - some of the same staff still work there :) The family owners are very welcoming, and one of them even helped me get my luggage out and packed. If you want flash and corporate, this isn't it. If you want personal and comfortable, stay here for sure.

The staff’s children were running around the building, yelling, climbing on furniture and spitting on the ground. It was not a pleasant start to our stay.

The stay was great . In town for kids sporting events. Good value for the money. , We will stay again next time were in the area.

It isn’t the worst place, but the price point was definitely high. The pillows were terrible, blankets super thin, and the lighting was so dim. The sofa chair in the room had a red stain on the seat and a tear in the arm. I would maybe expect that for under $80/night, but definitely not for a $150/night stay. The location was convenient for us as it was right near family, but that is the only appeal. If the location wasn’t so convenient and the hotel generally okay, we probably wouldn’t stay here again. The front desk staff wasn’t particularly friendly or helpful and the breakfast was waffles and fruit loops…someone burned food on the waffle maker and the front desk person was extremely rude to us when we walked in and looked around to see what the options were. We ended up getting food elsewhere.

We stay at this hotel frequently when visiting family. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Will stay there anytime we are in the area.

Several families stayed here for a wedding near by. It was family friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast accommodations were large enough for all of us and the choices varied enough so everyone could find something they liked. The staff was very friendly.

The rooms are dated, but are clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only negative experience was the family across the hall were loud and their very young kids running around at midnight yelling. The kids were left unattended in the pool.
