The hotel was nice. It is connected to another hotel. Parking wasn't abundant. Pool was cold, but the kids loved the slide. Didn't appreciate seeing qr codes to tip the staff all over. Even left a card about tipping after cleaning our room while we were out for the day.

Our experience at this hotel wasn't the best. For starters, we were given a dog room. I am a dog person. I have a dog who is a member of our family. I like dogs. I really do. However, I do not enjoy walking into a room that smells like wet dog. I would never allow my dog to smell so putrid. The cleanliness also seem to reflect that we were in a dog room. Another negative experience came when we went to the pool. The pool slide was randomly closed for maintenance. We booked this hotel for the slide. I would never have booked this hotel had I known the slide would be closed. This information should be disclosed prior to booking. My kids were severely disappointed and honestly I was too. I was looking forward to riding the slide with my kids. We also received a door ding in our car due to limited parking. The one positive experience we'd had at this hotel was the breakfast. It was extremely clean and well taken care of. I could tell that the breakfast attendant truly wanted to serve the best breakfast possible.

We had chosen this hotel for the water slide, but it was “out of order” during our stay. They were also hosting tournament players, who were housed on our floor and up pounding on doors and making noise until early morning hours. I don’t understand why they can’t room all of them on one or two floors and put quiet elderly people on the upper floor!? Breakfast area was full of kids slopping around at the waffle maker, no orange juice…etc. On the plus side, front desk staff person was a wonderfully pleasant woman, all staff we encountered were great. Room was clean and bed was comfortable!

Clean rooms, clean inside and out of the hotel. Breakfast was also delicious. I really enjoyed my stay here and I would return. Staff was pretty friendly. Didn’t have a negative experience with this hotel. It was pretty busy during my stay and other visitors had children running up and down the hallways late at night.

The location was near restaurants and other tourist attractions. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room was clean in all the important areas like the bathrooms and beds, linens were fresh, and floors. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and AC worked well. Unfortunately, our room smelled strongly of cat urine. Knowing they were full because of Sturgis, we didn't complain. We just bought some febreeze and tried to tolerate it. This hotel does allow pets so I suppose that's something you might have to consider when booking a room here. On a positive note, the breakfast was better than most with protein options and fresh waffles that our kids really enjoyed. The warm pool with a slide was a bonus for our family. Overall, it was a nice stay and for a 2 star hotel, you probably can't find much better than this place.

Great for families, kids loved the pool, and good in-between proximity to black hills and badlands.

Sofa beds in suites are TWIN size and thin. It doesn’t sleep 6, but 4-5. Very young children could sleep on the sofa bed or a roll-away. Management is AWESOME. Literally saved us when the website said it was a full sofa sleeper for 2. They went above and beyond. Everything was clean and the mini fridge has a freezer comp.
