Perfect for a quick family getaway. Loved watching the sunset on the rooftop bar. Located in the heart of downtown and walking distance to shopping and dining. The only complaint would be the elevators are a bit small and slow. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful historic property. Restaurants on location. Our room was a bit small. Feel they could shorten the dresser up a bit to make it easier to walk around the bed. They were remodeling the elevators when we where there. A bit spendy, not a great hotel for children. Would definitely stay again!

the front desk host were very rude we had a death in our family and their was no consideration. i just felt if it was my hotel i would at least give them a credit to stay another time. our family lives there in Rapid and we have been there many times. it was so disappointing.

There are two restaurants inside this property and a Starbucks which is convenient. The alley separating the hotel from the next building is known as Art Alley which is known for its graffiti type art which is pretty unique and is constantly changing. Within walking distance from lots of places to eat, tattoo shops, and a small movie theater. The building itself is interesting and pretty cool. I tend not to stay in older buildings as I know there are challenges with upkeep but I would definitely stay here again. Also, the hotel is supposedly haunted. Go to the website and read about it. They offer a ghost hunter package and you have the chance to stay in the haunted room if you book a full size bed and then call the hotel to request that room which is on the 8th floor. The hallways are super interesting. Short ceilings and little nooks and crannies with doors to rooms. And several sets of stairs taking you different places in the building if you want to use them. I have not stayed in any hotel like this one so if you enjoy unique and/or historic properties give this one a shot. Of note, there seemed to be a fair amount of loiterers nearby which had its uncomfortable moments and you have to find street parking which is free on weekends or park in a lot kiddie corner from the hotel that has posted free hours. They do have valet parking for a fee which you may want to consider.

There is a sense of being back in time to the opening of this opulent hotel in the 20's. The woodwork was amazing, the amenities were more than adequate, plenty of restaurants and close to entertainment. We liked the staff the most. The people went out of their way to help you with any problems or difficulties. Also, thanks to the hotel management for sharing their baby grand piano! It sounded great!
