Terrible customer service. Sent text thru Expedia that my check-in would be late 1130 to midnight to please make sure I had my room with queen beds because I had four people my two grandchildren and my daughter-in-law and myself. Just to make sure I called the Marriott personally and spoke to Chloe at 10:29. She said yes ma’am we got your message I said make sure I have two beds. There are four of us. We are exhausted from dance competition and the granddaughters have to get up at 6 AM to dance again no problem she said we arrive at 12:05 no queens only king with pull out. Was very upset, but took the room then no parking in a very dangerous area. No security showed up at the hotel. The front desk didn’t even offer a complementary water get to the room. There’s no sheets blankets or pillows for the pull out have to go back downstairs the night Clerk has no key to the storage. They do not offer us another room I had to pay for another king room it is now 1:24 in the morning. And we are just now getting in our rooms. My granddaughters are exhausted, crying and upset. They have to dance first thing in the morning. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not Clerk did not even offer us a free water. I had to go to the bartender and ask if there was somebody else that could help. I have stayed in a lot of Marriotts in the last 30 years. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

The front desk staff were smiling sweet talking do nothings. The first day we had room service and not again for 5 days. I asked 3 times to get a blanket before one was delivered. We discovered we were leaving the DND sign on till 11:30a. That was ok the 1st day, but not afterwards. The sign was removed at 10:00am still no service. There was no checking on us even when discussed with the staff. I find fault with the front desk not the room service people. They followed up very little. I was able to chase people down or ask the front desk or get a maintenance person to help to get wash clothes and coffee. We have someone in the hospital, so other family had already made reservations with you and experienced the same lack of service at the front desk. No one on duty for several minutes. They had made reservations for queen beds but no room was available except king beds. I'll let them tell their own full story. But let me add as they were checking in a different customer was saying the same things. Get your act together.

Very nice, although there were a lot of kids and they were running thru halls and making a lot of noise. At one moment, I thought our room was going to cave in from above.

I rented a room with 2 queen beds and when we got to the room it was one queen bed with a pull out. Called the front desk and was told that since I booked with hotels.com I agreed to what ever was available. I never saw this anywhere on the site. They gave us a roll away bed to put in the room for additional sleeping space. The mattress on the pull out was thin and stained. Only 2 towels/wash clothes for a family of 4. Called and requested 2 more and after an hour they had not been brought up to the room so I had to go down to get them. The next day we loaded up our things and I stopped by the front desk to see if they needed anything from me because my husband was going to drop my daughter and myself off for the event we were in town for and he and our son were going to go back until check out. I told the desk clerk my husband would complete the check out process and turn in the key cards. Well he and our son went back and house keeping was cleaning the room without checking out!! I called and the front desk clerk apologized but could not tell me why this happened. All he could offer was maybe house keeping saw us leaving and assumed we were gone. Why would they bother trying to go clean a room when they have not been informed the guest checked out? We took out things to make sure nothing was left behind. No hot water either NOT worth the price! I would not recommend find another place to stay!!

Wifi is not free. My child watches a show before bed so I had to pay about $8 for wifi for about an hour use. No microwave in room. After using the pool we had to walk around to the front of the hotel because no outside doors opened. The elevator advertised a restaurant in the hotel but no one at the bar even acknowledged us being in the room. We booked this hotel as the halfway point to the beach and prepaid online for the trip back for a 2nd stay. The second stay was double what we paid for the first night. They require a hold on your card for incidentals but we did not have enough left to cover the hold so we could not stay. I paid over $200 and they could not refund since it was booked through hotels.com. So since they couldn't put a hold on more of my money we lost over $200 and drove the full 8 hours home. We could have stayed two more nights at the beach for what we lost. The desk lady was nice enough to tell me to step aside so she could wait on other guests. It is not any more special than any other hotel at half the price.
