DoubleTree by Hilton North Charleston - Convention Center

Our stay at the DoubleTree Hilton was superb! I would definitely recommend this Hotel to family, friends…to everyone!

This Hilton property is spotless. Staff is very helpful. The price was good comparatively speaking. I mistakenly booked a room with two queen beds. There’s a lot of wasted wall space opposite the beds. The one upholstered chair was comical in size. Should be in a child’s playroom. Water pressure was very low. The location is ok but almost impossible to turn left out of. If we were going to another event near by this location this wouldn’t be my first choice.

My husband and i had the opportunity to stay at this hotel on 9-23-09 because he was in town on a business trip. When we drove up on the parking love, the palm trees and sit areas in front were eye catching. From the moment we entered through the doors, the staff were VERY courteous. We absolutely loved the hotel!!! We've stayed in a number of hotels and i would have to say this is in my top 3!! We have stayed at the marriot and it did not hold a light to this one! The marriot we stayed in in nc did not hold a light to this hotel. I HIGHLY recommmend this to my family and friends!! If in the area again, this will definitely be my choice of hotels! The room was spacious and clean, we loved the walk in shower! (goodbye bathtub!!) The bed was very comfortable.. Even had full room service. (menu consisted of burgers, chicken tenders, etc), all reasonably priced. Denny's & Chilis jus outside the door, literally.. I've read alot of reviews and have based my decision to stay or not to stay at a hotel based on the review i read and i can honestly tell you WE LOVE THIS HOTEL!! AA+++.. HIGHLY RECOMMMENDED!
