Crowne Plaza Charleston Airport - Conv Ctr, an IHG Hotel

Very nice clean quiet get away for my daughter and I. The hotel had a large family reunion hosted there the weekend my daughter and I stayed and it was still quiet at night the staff was available and room service was perfection.

Hotel was very nice. But a little worn. Was excited to go to the pool but it needed cleaning. Walls and bottom was covered with algae. Was sorry to see some kids swimming and playing in it. Needed a good swimming pool company to do a thorough cleaning. Needed chlorine and brushing. The lobby was nice with a bar and restaurant. Restaurant smelled good but didn’t see anyone eating but there were people eating at the bar. We reserved thru Hotels.com and not sure if we get the same level of rooms. Our room was nice. King bed with a couch and a desk with fridge and coffee maker. It was a nice room but the lamp shade was broken with some cracks. Didn’t look very professional. The headboard was covered in Naugahyde. It looked like someone had cut it with a knife and then scratched off the finish. I noticed that when I put my hands behind my head while watching tv that my fingernails scratched the finish and had residue under my nails so I guess that was why it looked so bad. They should either replace the lamp shade and repair the headboard or don’t rent the room. We were there for the John Fogery concert and the hotel wasn’t busy at all. We should have got a nicer room but I always feel like using hotels.com we always get a room at the end of the hall and one that is t quite as good as the others. It is right across the street from Tanger Outlets and there are tons of restaurants within a mile or so. Right down from the Top Golf facility.

I didn’t like the fact that the rooms were so outdated. When we 1st walked in the room we instantly noticed dust all over the counter and mini fridge…also smears everywhere like housekeeping didn’t clean…went into the bathroom it was a huge rust stain on the outside of the tub…the people were extremely nice but the room unfortunately not so much…cleanliness is huge for me and my family

This hotel was clean. Breakfast buffet is pricey. $12 for kids.

I love the room design, particularly the bathroom. The staff was professional and kind. I loved the ability to use the work stations on the main ground, but being a holiday it was louder with large groups of families
