The room w wasn't clean properly and then they had no other accommodation so I just had to deal with it. Through my entire stay I could not do any of my activities I plan to do because the kid running into a issue with hot water that they could do nothing about. By time management and the situation that even wasn't done properly because I was supposed to not get charged for Compton my room but I still got charged and when I reached out to management they told me it will drive that it's not going to be there I never saw that happen and I was supposed to get confirmation email about all that to sum up what was told I'd never got that email from management I called back and still was told the same thing from the same manager and still never got the email and I'm supposed to be able to get directly booked by Management on the next time I come because of considering that my entire trip with jacked up. So I'm supposed to get it or you do without my trip even though they did at least caught me one day but I got no refund and I still got charged for what was put to my room that I was told by two managers I won't get charged for so that's what happened on that trip with that hotel

I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. It is a very family friendly resort, clean, zero entry pool for the kids, and excellent staff. This is the first resort ever in my life I didn’t mind paying the resort fee which includes the usual wifi and pool towels and parking, but also free ice cream every day, lemonade and cookies at a certain time, a popcorn machine at certain times, a s’mores kit and fire on Saturday night, games all over the resort, etc. My only small gripe is the lack of light in the bathroom and I didn’t have a fitted sheet on my king bottom sheet which is a pet peeve of mine. It’s worth the extra few bucks to upgrade to harbor view room just for the room size/view.

It was a perfect overnight get away for a date night child free. This was our second time being here.

Exceeded expectations. Lovely room, exceptional balcony view, great lobby and pool area, and nice amenities (complimentary ice cream for the kids was a nice touch). Only criticism was that the pool was quite dirty (had to fish a cockroach out myself) and the adjoining restaurant (Fish House) was a disaster. We’ll stay again, but won’t book breakfast next time.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the Harborside and were allowed to use the pool at the Beach Club side which was great. Loved using the bikes for a ride around the area. Enjoyed waffles for breakfast at the Fish House restaurant on property. The queen room and bathroom were on the smaller side with only one sink. It was manageable for two (though very tight) but would not recommend a family of four stay there. There was light coming in from the top and bottom of the doorway so you could easily hear people outside in the halIway. The air conditioner was loud and startling every time it came on. I would try the Beach Club side next time- probably worth the extra money per night.

Overall, the pools and the beach area were very nice. The beach area was nicely set up and very relaxing. We had a room with 2 queen beds and it was painfully small. It was very difficult for 2 adults and 2 children to move around at the same time. The bathroom also did not have a vent, which would cause the bathroom and the room to get very steamy & humid. We also had to unplug every lamp in the room to be able to have enough outlets for items to plug in, so that felt very outdated in the room. There was also a $100 incidental fee that was held on your credit card PER DAY, which was definitely a surprise when we got there and checked in. The good options were good overall, but the only breakfast option was at the nicer sit-down restaurant on-sit. It definitely would have been nice to have another, easier breakfast option.

Resort in great location - walking distance to the harbor and provides a shuttle to downtown. Short drive to all the restaurants and bars. Room was inviting and clean with a view of the harbor. Pool area is like a resort with plenty of lounge chairs. Plan on returning for a family trip next time.

It was beautiful. Loved every bit of it. I do wish you could buy snacks/drinks in the Beach Club hotel. Instead of going to the Harborside. Also, I wish there were a kid friendly meal at the tiki bar or the reel bar. I felt like there was nothing for kids to have for lunch by the pool. But besides that, we loved it. Next time, I will pack kid food!

This was our first stay- and I’m not sure if we will return… pros and cons. Cons: * we called in advance THREE different times to clarify if the showers were walk in before and after booking. We have a family member who needed an accessible room but we were told they were sold out. So- we told them a walk in shower would work but we could not have a room that had a tub and shower attached. We were reassured that the room type we booked would have a walk in shower. Upon arrival, our family member was booked in a room with a shower tub combo… then we were inform we’d the only rooms with walk in shower only were upgrades. So we had to pay extra each night to ensure our family member could stay. This wouldn’t be an issue if we hadn’t called three times and confirmed. * the fish house was overpriced and honestly absolutely terrible food. Our breakfast came out burnt and took forever. Not to mention the eggs they served us tasted and smelled like fish. * there’s a resort fee- which basically doesn’t cover anything that’s worth $50 per night. * the front desk staff was rarely helpful. Pros: Beautiful views from balcony Two pools Great bar next to the water Room sizes on the beach side have walk In showers and are spacious. Parking is easy. I don’t think I’ve written a poor review in a long time (if ever)… if location and views are important it’s fine. But better upkeep, better trained staff, and customer service could go a long way to get people back.
