Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant, an IHG Hotel

The hotel pool and bar is the only positive. When we arrived in our room the window was so filthy that we couldn’t see out of it. It looked like a dog or a child had licked all over it. I asked the front desk to send someone to clean it and no one ever came. Even during service overnight it was not cleaned. There were no mattress covers and two of our pillow cases had holes in them. Would not recommend!!!

I had a horrible view from my room overlooking the roof! The room was nice. I enjoyed the pool and the bar. Had some loud kids in the room next to me but that can happen anywhere! Overall it was good and I would stay again. I would just request a room without the roof view. I usually stay at Harborside but it was fully booked and happy I found this hotel. It was less expensive and a good value!

Everything was perfect except the size of room and toilet was too low. With 2 queen size beds there was barely space to walk around. The toilet was made for a toddler being that low to the floor.

I have to go to MUSC Hospital on a semi-regular basis and drive to My Pleasant the day before and stay at various hotels and I use those stays to rank brands in my head. For me, Hotel Indigo was just average. Nothing stuck out as above average or below average. Often my comments are things I see alot and saw at Hotel Indigo 1) No cushioned chair was in room. Just a straight backed office type chair. People may want to take their shoes off and kick back in an easy chair and a rolling straight back chair is a poor substitute. 2) Sheets. First thing I find is the bed is made up like when I went to boot camp. Had to undo the sheets and blanket so I could get under the sheets. Hotel Indigo sprung a Duvet Cover and associated insert on me so I had to wrestle with that which I found annoying. Stick with a FOLDED blanket I can easily put on and take off as room temperature dictates. Would I stay there again? Not in Mt Pleasant because there are too many other hotels hit the same level of comfort for less money. If you have children it has a pool. If you are going to have some sort of group event it would be a good choice based on amenities and services available and excellent access to downtown Charleston.

We stayed here for a wedding with family and friends. It was ok, but, just ok. Very expensive so we expected it to be nicer. Staff was very friendly and helpful however, so that was nice.

Hotel was perfect and the front desk staff, Dave and Tonya were more than helpful! We were here for a wedding and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating! They made all of our family and friends staying at the hotel feel welcome! Melony, and the rest of the restaurant staff were wonderful as well!

Great & affordable for family friendly.

We came in for our anniversary and wanted to split our time between the 3 local beaches and Charleston. We actually split most of our time between the beaches and some beautiful areas around Mt Pleasant. Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park is literally right behind the hotel. It has stunning views, a playground for the kiddos, a gift shop with a small cafe and fishing too! There were tons of spots to just sit and take in the views as well. One of the hotel staff was kind enough to tell us about the park. Visit The Old Village Mt Pleasant, Shem Creek for wonderful views and dinning, and Pitt Street Bridge with the best views and sunsets in the area all within 10 minutes or so from the hotel. The area the hotel is in is absolutely perfect and there is so much to see and do all around it. Hotel Indigo was very clean and quiet and the grounds and pool area are great for snapping the perfect pics! The beds were so comfy, the bathrooms, rooms, and common areas were spotless, and the staff was so friendly and helpful during our stay. We had a mishap with the air-conditioning in our room as it is scorching hot in July. Lol The staff at the front desk went above and beyond to switch our room quickly and even upgraded us to a king suite! The manager Joe personally followed up with us later that day and went above and beyond to make sure our anniversary stay was amazing. THANK YOU!! 😊 We extended our stay an extra day we loved it so much! Don't hesitate, book today!

The Indigo hotel is perfect to come and go around Charleston at a great price! It is close to downtown and local beaches but at a much cheaper price! The pool area and outside games are great for kids of all ages! It was nice having the restaurant and bar right there after a day in the sun. Highly recommend-a nice, clean hotel, with great service at a price that won’t break the bank!

Very cheerful rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice pool and play area for kids set back so not too noisy. Bountiful breakfast. Convenient location but not in middle of Charleston, so better rates.
