This was a getaway weekend to spend with family. Our room was large, clean and very nice. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable and breakfast was super. Overall, excellent stay.

Everyone was kind and pleasing, the hotel is in a very convenient location. The only complaints I have was when we first walked into the room, it had a very strong scent of mold or mildew. The room seemed clean but the smell was overpowering. We also found 2 bugs that looks like baby cockroaches but I’m not sure. We’re are not big on complaining so we just dealt with it since we knew we were only going to be in the room temporarily. We certainly didn’t walk barefoot at all during our stay.

Great place to stay while on vacation with family. The breakfast was wonderful and options were very well kept up by staff. The location is great for a short drive to Charleston or a walk to the water taxi is just about 15 minutes away. We also went to Isle of Palms beach which was a short 20 minute drive. We planned our vacation to Charleston but found ourselves spending a lot of our time at Mount Pleasant because we enjoyed the dining options and activities near by. The only thing that wasn’t satisfactory with our stay was the laundry. The washers worked fine, but the drier was pretty much useless. My medium load of clothes was still very damp after an entire round of drying. It was still a wonderful stay and we would stay again in the future.

Rooms were just the right size for a family of four. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean !! The hotel staff (Jonas)at check in was very pleasant... I can NOT say enough about the breakfast staff and food. Grits are very creamy, bacon was crispy, eggs, sausage was very good....but the homemade cinnamon rolls were out of this world !!! The lady that made them is the sweetest person I've ever met at a hotel breakfast room. Not only did she fix the cinnamon rolls, but she went around and checked on everyone, and made sure they had what they wanted. Those cinnamon rolls also had a hint of lemon to the taste.....It was money well spent !!! We were there to see the fireworks show at Patriot Point for the 4th of July !! Can't wait to go back. Will be staying here again in the future!!!

Well it was ok, but not worth what we paid. The check in guy had an attitude when I tried to check in. I had messaged through Expedia to see if we could check in early and the hotel said we could if our room was ready. He was dismissive and acted like I was lying. I let it go and just came back later when he said we could. Our ac unit smelled moldy when it was turned on. We were on the 1st floor and we could hear everytime someone got up to walk around on the second floor room above us. It sounded like they were stomping and the floor creaked really loudly. Its no big deal in the daytime, but when you're trying to sleep its terrible. I dont recommend room 111. My sister had another 1st floor room and they didnt hear any creaky floors above them. The pool is small, but my kids didnt seem to mind. Other than that beds were comfy and the breakfast was great! They had lots to choose from for breakfast and the lady attendant was so sweet and helpful.
