Hilton Greenville

We were unable to check in after driving for 3 hours with small kids due to Hilton’s system outage. Hotel staff was rude and no empathy for guests waiting in line for hours to only be told they couldn’t check in. LL said pool and gym so I thought I could take the kids there to unwind while we wait for the system to allow us to check in only to get to the pool and it’s covered in tarps.

The room (junior suite) was really nice and spacious. My wife and I were very impressed with it, the lobby and bar was really nice as well. The location is ideal as it is close to Haywood Mall and plenty of restaurants. Truly recommend staying at the Hilton Greenville.

I booked a suite which was supposed to have a sofa bed and a king bed. There was no sofa just a couple of chairs. The only thing they could do for me since the hotel was fully booked due to various events going on around town was to give me a roll away bed which was very uncomfortable. Good for a child, not an adult. Very disappointing.

Stayed the weekend of Aug 3rd. Room was clean and staff were nice. Room service however was not. I was unable to reach them once in a span of about 4 hours and this was after 5 pm. Even used my cell to call the front desk to confirm they were operable and had them transfer me, and still nothing. As someone who specifically books hotels with this option because I have children and cannot leave the room at times this made things very inconvenient. Even Ubereats cannot come up because of the hotels key requirement for the hotel so I would have still had to come downstairs to utilize this option as well.

While our stay wasn’t long, we enjoyed every bit of it. At check-in we were met with nothing but kindness. She spoke briefly to each of my children about what was bringing us to Greenville and really made them feel special. The lobby was beautiful as was the lighted entry. I particularly liked that a key card was required to go up the elevators. It made me feel a little safer. The breakfast buffet ($15 for adults) was good. There was a nice variety of food. I didn’t order anything from the menu but someone near me did. It looked great and the server spoke highly of the chef who prepared it. Beds were comfortable and pillows were nice. Rooms appeared very clean.
