La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Greenville Haywood

This is a great hotel for the money. I stay here every time I come down to visit family. Definitely a place I would recommend.

I booked a king handicap room. It didn't say it was connected to another room. The guests next to us are so loud. 11:15pm kids are still up. TV blaring. Hallways are dirty. We came to get sleep and it doesn't look like we will being that the neighbors are so loud and we are directly connected by a door. This should have been in the description of the room. I didn't want a joint room and wouldn't have ever gotten this room!

Property was convenient, pet friendly and a great price…however I had to clean the room before we could relax. Also, the table in the room was teetering and dangerous for the kids to sit at. Disappointing as the reviews say the hotel is great.

Room 218 is next to elevator so is close to sound of jets leaving. Toilet great for children but is like sitting on floor and small. Did report baseboards falling apart and carpet musty. Is a great layout with sofa in separate room with 2nd tv. Sofa did have stains and drapes in bedroom were destroyed near the closet. Freeway only slightly noisy. Pet friendly but dogs not allowed in many areas including lobby. Tiny relief areas for dogs but very tall grass were available. Needs steam clean or change air freshener to fix musty smell.

When checking in, there were 30 or more teenagers from a baseball team there in the lobby. Immediately I knew there was going to be a noise problem bc we had to shout to check in. I asked to be roomed away from the team… I was roomed right next to them. At midnight they were racing down the halls, I called front desk and asked if they could do something. At 130am those kids parents were drinking in the halls being ridiculously loud. At 5 am, I called again bc they had dogs running down halls and then were put in rooms left to bark. Had to call again at 7am. Worst night sleep ever!! Contacted the Manager and she said others were complaining but she blamed Parents (understandably) but wouldn’t at least threaten to contact authorities if they didn’t calm down. Would not offer me a refund. Needless to say I checked out next day and went next door to the Hilton.

The room next to ours was very noisy and their children were very loud The breakfast area had no coffee and had to wait for someone to make coffee There was little food in the containers and no sweet rolls The entire experience was awful We used to like to stay at this hotel but we will no longer stay there

Room was perfect for my family and the hotel was conveniently located in Greenville. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Room was clean and spacious.

A staff member unplugged the refrigerator while I was away for hours out of my room. All of my babies breast milk went bad and the hotel did nothing about it. Not even an apology. They were only suppose to replace the microwave ( which they did) but never plugged the new one in. Only unplugged the fridge!!! This was heartbreaking. I have a 3 month old. I will not stay here again.

We stayed for my sons baseball tournament recently. The facility was dirty, smelled and even when we put the house keeping sign on the door….no one ever showed up. We had to take our own trash out….four days worth. We had to ask for new towels….there were only two provided for a family of five and even had to take our own dirty towels to laundry ourselves. When Friday night came the halls were filled with the smell of weed and very sketchy looking people (some with ankle monitors) I might add. Thankfully our stay is over and lesson learned. Just because you save a dollar doesn’t mean it’s worth it.

There was obviously a family across the hall that may have been full time residents that stayed up ALL night, each night(Sat-Tues). Front desk was no help accessing internet for my business needs. TV was out first day. Fixed later that next day. Side entrance was never locked. Rear entrance was out of order. Elevator insp overdue. Pillows sucked.
