No signs where to go - parked in a ramp and had to walk all around carry all luggage - huge pain with a family

We selected this hotel based on there being an indoor pool because this is a top priority for our three small children. Unfortunately, we discovered it was ice cold once we arrived at the pool because a heating element was not working.

Having stayed at other embassy suites, found this one to be extremely unclean. The breakfast area had flies both mornings we stayed. It appears they have a lack of staffing to help with this issue. There was a multiple mornings in which parts of the breakfast we are missing including silverware, food from the buffet. I'm not sure if this was because there was a conference going on but regardless it's not an excuse if this is part of what you are selling. We often choose to stay at embassy suites because of the family friendliness of having a suite. The rooftop hotel also was also unclean. Took a long time to get our food and food was cold.

Room was clean but the smell was not quite properly for kids. Something must to be done with the bad smell.

This hotel is beautiful and at a perfect location. You can safely walk around downtown and take in the beautiful sights. The room we had was very spacious and the free hot breakfast was fantastic. I only paid $7 for the night to self park at the garage. Not bad at all! The pool was closed when we visited, which was not known ahead of time. If I knew that, I would have probably selected another hotel for the kids. Otherwise, great stay.

Conveniently located in downtown so, close to everything. The pool was amazing, my kid and her friends loved it. Would stay again if ever traveling back to Greenville.
