Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Mill, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is nice and the breakfast offering is good. The rooms and bathrooms are good too. However, two of my family members had allergy/asthma problems in one of our rooms. One child was going to sleep on the pullout but when we pulled it out the mattress had lots of stains and some mold so he could not sleep on it. Maybe that was the cause of the asthma/allergies. We had specifically chosen this hotel to have the additional bed in the pullout so that was a disappointment.

Amazing Team! We arrived before check in and needed to get into the room to change for a wedding. Kelly and the team were very accommodating and treated the occasion with importance as if it was there own family member.

Close to grandchildren

I liked the staff but wasn't happy with some of what I was told were your hotel policies. I tried to purchase bottled cokes and was told the front desk wasn't allowed to accept cash or place it on a tab, causing me to make another trip to my room and back for a credit card. I called in advance to ask if an earlier check-in was available and was told i could show up early but they didn't know if it was possible, but assured me the room would be held till we checked in, which we did that evening. And the morning of check out I called at about 3:30 am requesting a late check out as I was ill, and the person answering said he'd note the request but didn't know if it was okay. My family came to help me get out on time so I never found out if it would have been okay. Everyone of the staff were pleasant just not terribly accommodating. I was cold due to illness and there were no spare blankets available in the room. My husband doesn't walk well so running to the front desk was not an option.
