Hilton Garden Inn Columbia/Harbison

We stopped to give the kids a break, eat dinner and sleep before hitting the road to head home the next day. It was located at a convenient location. The staff was professional and courteous. Purchasing the breakfast when we purchased the room saved us quite a bit of money, as a family of 6, we always appreciate. Due to exhaustion and lack of desire to unpack our roof carrier, we didn't make it to the pool. The only complaint I have is, for such a high quality hotel, we should not of found a cheese wrapper and crumbs in the floor between the two beds, however, I believe it was an oversight and the cleaning staff may have just been hurried because the rest of the room was clean, vacuumed, and comfortable.

Nice hotel near the mall and lots of shops, great option for families

The suite was great for having adult children stay with you. Loved having the 1/2 bath. Bathrooms were clean but old. Enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is located near popular shopping and eateries. We enjoyed the bar in the lobby on multiple occasions as we were visiting with friends and family. The 12:00 checkout was an added bonus, too. It was a very pleasant stay.

I picked this hotel because of location, what's around it and it had a pool for my children. We even stopped off to buy swimsuits just to arrive to the facilities pool Being down for several weeks. I would have picked a different hotel if this was disclosed during booking.

All and all was a nice room and very clean but when buying the room in the description was said to be a roll out bed. We booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child and were never given a roll out bed during our stay. The front desk were kind and said they’d look into it I was just very let down with the wrong description and price I paid for a room just to have 1 kind bed and my kid sleep on the floor. Hopefully they can fix the description Expedia had for our room to let guest in the future know the roll out beds are not promised.

My stay was horrible. I did not receive any housekeeping during my 5 day 4 night stay. The hotel was under renovation so all of the amenities were inaccessible. They tried to send me and my family to go swim at another property and when we went they would not allow us to swim because we were not guests at their property. My microwave was giving off an electrical burn smell so I called down for maintenance to come take a look at it, as I had my 3 kids in the hotel, I was worried about my family safety. No one ever showed up. The hotel manager came up the next day after my husband called the front desk a second time and swapped the microwave out. My room shower head and nozzles were dysfunctional and loose. The water never turned completely off so our whole stay we had to listen to a dripping faucet non-stop. This was the worst stay that I have ever had. I am a Hilton Honors member and I will be contacting Hilton Corporate office to report my unsatisfactory experience. This stay ruined my whole vacation with my kids.

We were not greeted at all upon a late night arrival, bur the clerk behind rhe desk was assistinf someone else. There was another employee walkinf around the area that didnt acknowledge myself or evidently tired toddler asking me about us goinf to our room. Then a family came down running out informing us to leave the building as somethinf on their entire floor was taking place causing vomiting, breathing issues, and strange smells. Two other separate guests then came down to walk out due to this as well. Ar rhat time, I stated aloud we couldnt hinder our childs safety or health and had to leave. There was still no response from the staff. From there at midnight, had to worry more so about finding another hotel immediately for our son to sleep rather than trying to get answers from the unengaged staff. After we did so, i reported through support chat our circumstances and requested a refund since the situation was completely out of our control.

WE were traveling home from seeing family in a different state. We are traveling with our family dog. Everything was very nice there. The staff was friendly to us and our dog. The restaurant at the hotels was a wonderful plus as we were tired from traveling all day.

It was a great hotel for a one night stop over in Columbia. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool and there were good dining options around.
