The staff were friendly, the breakfast was nice, the pool was good for my kids. But, it was a very disappointing experience due to the lack of overall cleanliness.

It was good but my children wasn’t able to use indoor poor which is the reason I booked this hotel so they can swim but they close the pool early for some reason and that was disappointed .

Absolutely everything at this hotel was wonderful! Great, clean room! Our family will definitely stay here, again!

We walked into the hotel and immediately were smacked in the face with the smell of pot. My child even made a comment about hoping our room didn't smell too. The women at the night counter was nice enough and we went up to our room hoping it would be better. Not so much. Our bed spread had stains all over it, including things that were stuck on, raised up, etc. Figured it would be OK, we could remove it and checked the sheets. Sheets seemed fine, so we went on with the night. The tub had no stopper to take a bath, which again, disappointing. The bath mat was slightly stained, and there was hair on the shower wall. Then we noticed a stain on one of the pillow cases, that looked like maybe a body nose stain. My child fell asleep and had an early morning, so at this point asking to change rooms or leaving wasn't an option. Then in the middle of the night, the room next to us got really loud and our room started smelling like weed. I got up to go to the bathroom and there were roaches crawling on the floor. It was absolutely disgusting. I didn't sleep because of all of this and as soon as it was time to get my child up, I woke him and we left immediately.
We stay at hotels almost weekly several months of the year and this one was by far the worst. It was absolutely disgusting.

It was great breakfast the pool was awesome and warm for the kids and family the staff was helpful and friendly highly appreciated and recommended will definitely be back for next stay when in the area

This hotel is located in the busiest section of Columbia. Directly in the shopping district across the street from the mall and right beside a Walmart. It’s busy! The clientele it attracts is sketchy imo with a lot of poc making it feel a little unsafe walking around.
The 3 to 4 foot pool was filled to capacity up to the 10pm hour of closing and we were never able to get in. The noise from the swimmers going to their rooms after 10pm was extreme. The voices traveled for up to a couple of hours with the parents and kids screaming and having too much fun. I finally fell asleep around midnight.
My Kids were able to get in pool in the morning and the place was trashed and water was questionable. Not cleaned by morning. It’s heated and decent sized on a better day could be great. There’s a quarter slot laundry room available too.
Our room was clean, the beds are soft with big huge puffy pillows. The sheets smelled fresh. No complaints about cleanliness.
Breakfast 7-10am with lots of options. Eggs, biscuits n gravy, cereals, breads/bagels, waffle maker. Coffee was decent.
I was visiting the area bc of a family event and I wouldn’t search this area to stay ever again. We picked this hotel bc of the indoor pool. Be aware if that’s why you’re considering it too.

Terrible experience both during and while trying to resolve issues. Positives: convenient location and some staff that attempt to help resolve issues. Negatives: 1st and 3rd (2nd room had do not disturb sign and they weren't sure if it was occupied) had many pieces of hair in the tub, random trash around the room like a children's makeup compact and sticky substances on the 1st rooms closet door. The hot water didn't work and the stopped flushing toliet in the 3rd room. Discovered the housekeeper had her small, probably 1 to 2 years old, daughter with her cleaning rooms which is probably why they weren't clean. Got tired of switching rooms, which you have to remove all items go to front desk then get new room key which is more of a hassle, so I asked for cleaning supplies and cleaned the tub myself. When I called for either a partial or full refund I was denied and told I could speak to the hotel to dispute. I called and the manager wouldn't provide her name, claimed I should have told her all of the issues at checkout, I had mentioned the hot water and toliet as the others I had already addressed with her employees, and she called me rude and hung up after I told her it was not my responsibility to track her down, didn't even know who she was, to give her a play by play of how much of a disaster that hotel is. Please save yourself the headache and money and find somewhere else.

Check in- waited at the counter for a while, I'm guessing due to staff shortages. During the check in, it was a little uncomfortable as the staff member appeared to be bothered. She lightened up once I said a joke to my children but I should ever have to lighten the mood checking into a hotel.
Great location, we specifically selected here due to the mall, shopping and restaurants.
Although you can tell some remodeling has been done, it was all completed in pieces so the rooms still had an old overall feeling. Cleaning was poor, there was a substance on the couch in the room that you could clearly see. It's time to change the mattresses, there are dips. The hotel lobby was fine and the breakfast was great with a good selection. We weren't able to use the amenities but the hotel had an indoor pool, fitness center convenient ice machines and 24/7 water and coffee which is always nice.
A few tweaks is all. One more comment, it did appear the hotel had one or two long term guests, this can quickly change the atmosphere.

A couple of issues we had was on the second day of our stay, our key card would not work which led us to travel back from the 4th floor to the 1st to the front desk for their assistance. Also, my grandchildren decided they wanted to stay on the second night so I had to take them with me downstairs which was inconvenient. Another issue is the grandkids wanted to sleep on the sofa sleeper and when I converted it to the sleeper, there were crumbs on the bedding. I removed the bedding and placed the extra converter that I brought with me on the bed for them to sleep on. I did not mention this to the front desk as it was late when we returned to the hotel on the 2nd night and we were just all ready to go to sleep.
