Overall, this was a very nice stay. Appreciated the fact the parking was secure and free as opposed to some of the other nearby hotels. Quite an easy drive from the hotel to downtown Charleston. The only drawback was the room could’ve used a little maintenance. Some of the wallpaper was peeling and there was paint splatter on what appeared to be new tile in the bathroom. But I guess that’s what you get when you get a pet friendly room. Just grateful that we could bring our four-legged family with us.

Very convenient check in and garage to room access. Room was clean and roomy. Would recommend. Tv was slow to change channels (with 4 kids that was slightly frustrating but we were only in the room at night), but not a deal breaker. We had a view of the marina and

The hotel room itself was ok- the bathrooms looked a little dingy for the price of this hotel and there was no free breakfast, but the biggest disappointment was that there was no early check-in and our room wasn’t ready until literally 4 pm…(and we had just driven 14 hours with 3 small children) …there didn’t seem to be any compassion from the hotel staff in that regard. They were not friendly at all.

The staff and accommodations are always above and beyond! I truly appreciated the help with changing my reservation last minute due to 2 family emergency surgeries. Thank you for making my week a little less stressful!!! Excellent as always!

This hotel isn't necessarily located in the middle of town but everywhere we needed to go was no longer than a 6 to 15 min ride by car. They provide a free shuttle service that picks up and drops off every hour on the hour, to one fixed location the the historic district of Charleston. One other drop off is provided but you must schedule that prior. Parking was good and about 50% undercover. There is a nearby overpass but noise wasn't an issue at all. We didn't partake of any food on site. The room was clean by standards and there is a neatly kept small but adequate pool / lawn area in the back which my kids liked after all day out. The room wasn't cheap but it was the eclipse weekend after all so, you get what you get i guess. The staff: there maybe some conflicting reviews out there but I have to say, to a person...they all were the most pleasant, helpful, friendly bunch next to maybe a Disney resort I have experienced. Bent over backwards nice!!

They did not vacuum our room when we got there nor the whole stay, hairs all over the carpet and we were there with a small kid. Also ants and spiders on the room. When asked for another room they said they couldn't help us we have to talk with expedia. They just gave us free breakfast instead and "clean" infront of us.This hotel was not cheap. Very disappointed.
