Staybridge Suites Pittsburgh Airport

This was an EXCELLENT choice for our little mini getaway vacation to Pittsburgh. The hotel was clean and modern. The room was very spacious and comfortable (even if the mattress was a bit too hard for my liking). The full kitchen and large bathroom made it very homey for our 6 night stay. The breakfast choices were AMAZING and the morning staff was so friendly. We really appreciated the fresh homemade choices they offered - far better than typical hotel breakfast fare. It was clear that these ladies took pride in their work and made the guests feel like family. The location of the hotel was close enough to the city to pop in every day for sightseeing, and close enough to the airport to pick up a family member who joined us mid-stay. Surrounding the hotel was every kind of shopping you could ever need. There was no 'view' to speak of, but the sunsets out our west facing window were beautiful! If the hotel is reading this review - I would recommend a wall shelf for towels over the toilet and a hook for towel/robe next to the shower (to make up for the limited counter space in the otherwise large bathroom). Otherwise, we are very pleased with our stay here and would absolutely choose it again and recommend it to others.

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the mattress was sagging pretty badly and I Wilke up with a sore back. There was a large group of kids that were running all around. They seemed to be the children of the staff. It was very disruptive

Stay was nice and peaceful. Checkin was smooth, clean area. Safe to children. Spacious room.

The rooms were huge very nice clean , and what stood out most was the staff front desk from morning shift to night shift were amazing went above an beyond . We went out there for a recruitment visit at the university of pittsburgh and we got to the hotel late night kids had a bunch of energy the pool was closed and the lady from the mid shift was finishing up she saw that kids were bored and she didnt have too but she opened the pool at 11:30 pm so the boyz can have an hour there to hang out , that was a plus ,so thank you to that lady an the whole staff our stay was amazing , icing on the cake the breakfast 🙏love it ,thank you again will def stay there again on my next visit .

There was a team of hockey players and their parents staying on our floor, the kids were out of control. Running up and down the halls hanging on our door at times ranging from 11am to 1145 pm. While this isn't the hotels fault, I spoke to the front desk 3 separate times to express frustration. They asked the parents to keep the kids under control, but it clearly didn't work as this continued for the three days we stayed there. So my only issue with the hotel was lack of action to allow my girlfriend and I a peaceful stay.

Staff was very kind, and room was very clean. Kitchen and living area made stay very comfortable for my small family. Hotel was quiet and parking was very easy. Would stay here again.

Rooms were big and a great set up for my newborn and having a mini kitchen. However, there was what looked like blood stains on the couch and dead bugs on the vents. The cleaning service didn’t touch our room for the entire 4 days we were there. We had to ask three times for new sets of towels. When we brought it to the general managers attention, he told us they don’t do cleaning services on the weekend. What concerned me is the fact that we were told something different every time we called the front desk. All we needed were new towels, fresh sheets and more paper products. Very disappointed and unprofessional.

Hotel was overbooked and turned us away with nowhere for my family to stay.

Deborah was extremely helpful on reception and assisted me getting a cab to the airport, she went above and beyond the line of duty, she was run off her feet busy due to a staff member not turning up for work but she still persevered and got my taxi booked. The other member of staff on the earlier shift although polite and friendly just responded by suggesting "get an uber". I don't use uber and was really struggling until Deborah got it sorted. She even left a message for the next lady on the following shift to ensure my safe passage. Deborah was really busy but she could not do enough for me, bless her. I am surprised that the hotel does not have an affiliate Taxi company that they can rely on and refer for guests. If only all Hotel staff were as helpful as Deborah and the lady on the very early shift (4am). Commendable attitude, "can do" approach, and customer focused. The hotel was clean, the room was nice although slightly noisy (lots of children were staying) but hey, everyone seemed to be having a good time and thats what holidays are all about.
