Dirty refers to the pool. The pool tiles were so black with people oil, sunscreen and was gross. As a pool manager and lifeguard for 12 years as an adult, the green algae on the walls of the pool was bad. Don’t know who or what pool company cleans it, but was disgusting. I didn’t have a chemical tester but smelled absolutely no chlorine. It’s such a beautiful courtyard with the pool. The pool-filthy. Had my three grandkids there,,, Uck.

This was the last one of 3 hotels we stayed at during a family road trip. It was BY FAR the best. Even better than the other Holiday Inn Express we stayed at earlier in the week. First off, this hotel is in an excellent area. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. I wouldn’t say the hotel is newly renovated but it doesn’t feel super old, either. We book 2 king suites and both were extremely spacious and very nice. Some of the wood furnishings showed wear, but everything was clean and smelled nice. Both the pull out bed and the king bed was so comfortable, it was the best night of sleep my family of 7 got all week. Staff was the friendliest. Breakfast was very good. We didn’t get to use the pool but it looked beautiful. We would definitely stay here again, 10/10, thank you Holiday Inn Express Pittsburgh Airport!

The suite was helpful with little kids, but the bathtub seemed dirty to me. The grout was dirty and needed some new caulking especially on the floor. Overall it was ok, because the room’s door stop came out of the wall and was never fixed though we told someone right away the first day. The windows seemed dirty too and did not have a lot of light in the room.

The walls are very thin with little insulation and we could hear the kids in the next room as if they were in ours. The staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Location is great.

We had a problem with the noise in the next room that was adjoining ours. They were up till 1:30 having a gathering of some sort. I complained twice. They were called twice. They just keep being more and more obnoxious. They had visitors too. I got 3 hours sleep. I had to take a nap on the side of the road during my 5 hour travels home. There should be stricter policies enforced with trouble making guests. This is a hotel where families are resting at night, not a party house. I would like compensation for a awful night.
