Hilton Garden Inn Newtown Square Radnor

We enjoyed our stay. Front desk and food-service staff were very nice and accommodating. My only gripe is the maid-service who kept asking us if we were checking out even after i told them we had a late check out. This happened with another family we were traveling with. Very annoying. Other than that, great stay!

All good except I was on 2nd floor and people with children on 3rd floor above! It sounded like they were playing soccer in the room. The noise was intense and disruptive to sleep as it telescoped through the floor! I will ask for a 4th floor room next time.

The hotel had a fire alarm go off at 2am due to a guest melting something in the microwave. While I do know that the hotel themselves did not create the hazard, that is between them and that guest. I asked what the hotel was going to do for me and my family for being out in the cold for about an hour and having interrupted sleep due to this issue and they had zero answers. I then gave the manager an opportunity the following day to make things right and nothing. I told them that this review would be written and they didn't seem to care. If you want a hotel that cares about you, I do NOT suggest this location.

The toilet was constantly making noise. The heater was randomly making very loud noise, sounding like an airplane taking off. For these reasons refund should be issued. I was there with my family so I could rest, as I had to drive 9 hours next day. i was very upset. Also the bathroom sliding door was broken, the door was off the railing, so there was a big opening on both sides, exposing the bathroom, no privacy, room smelling poop. Totaly unacceptable.

I always stay at this property when I come to visit my family. It's not only because it super close to them it's has a lot to do with the staff here! Very friendly and courteous! Best beds ever!
