Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Philadelphia Valley Forge/Great Valley

Check in took a moment to find our reservation. Then their card reader could not accept our card. Which was funny, as they have it posted that it’s card only, no cash; but then their card system was very wS twisted. Card system did not accept chip or tap, slide only! I had to manually enter all of our info. Hotel was over run with loud and unruly children going to soccer games in the area. The parents were all on pause. My husband and I were almost run over by a kid on a bike in the parking lot. During the night, kids were running the halls yelling and slamming doors. Above our room kids were running around the room and jumping off of something and making very loud thuds. Woke up to the same behavior. When I called the front desk to advise them of the loud thuds, I was advised that they have a lot of children as guests! Well I realize Mgmt is limited, but you’d think a phone call could be made to the family above yo make them aware. Not just tell me to deal with it. Last but not least, our room was wonderful, very spacious, however we also had mold in our shower.

This property is very well maintained and in a safe, not busy area yet convenient to all KOP has to offer. Behind the hotel is access to an 18 mile walking/bike path. It’s beautiful! There were outdoor seating areas at the hotel that was nice to enjoy as this area isn’t busy or loud. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, pool was small but perfect for our small kids. Hot breakfast buffet (average— your typical hotel hot breakfast). We would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family and would stay here again without a doubt.

The Hotel was awesome. Quiet,safe,& my children enjoyed the pool. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was also great 👍.The room was clean and neat. Staff very friendly and insightful. I would recommend staying here for sure!

I booked two nights for a lacrosse tournament and called the Marriott to cancel one night and when I arrived at the hotel my reservation was completely cancelled and I was told there were no rooms available and they left me scrambling to find a hotel for the night for my family of 5!!! And then they charged my credit card for the two nights!! I’m still fighting to get my money back.

Me and my husband was very much satisfied with our stay,very nice and clean i would referral this Location to many of my friends and family. Keep up the great work.

Room and breakfast were good. Pool was a big disappointment—cold water made it unsuitable for the young kids. Shivering within 5 minutes.

This hotel was overall amazing. The room and hotel was very clean with nice decor. The staff was Very friendly, attentive, professional and bubbly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family, friends and business associates.

Overall we had a good stay for what we were looking for - to get out of the city. When we arrived our first room did not have all the trash taken out so we requested to be moved (which happened immediately and the staff were great about it). When we entered the second room things were “all clear” but it did smell like smoke (we didn’t make a fuss which we somewhat regret but oh well now). We informed the front desk (at check out) and they were very apologetic. The property itself was nice. But given we are in a pandemic I feel like some things could have been better kept/cleaned.It seemed like the elevators weren’t cleaned for most of the day Sunday (as there were clear indicators on the ground). Their pool policy made me feel really safe (one family per hour), but again being in a pandemic I feel there could have been more cleaning/sanitizing between families. The outside patio area with the fire pit was unexpected but very much appreciated! We had a great time out there and met some nice people. Again, we had a great stay, just wish things felt a bit cleaner due to Covid (basing this off of other hotels procedures I’ve seen in place). Oh and I must highlight ALL THE STAFF WERE SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!

I read to the room for two family members who are coming to an event. When they got up on Sunday morning, they came down, looking for breakfast and were told there was none. They said the hotel was very average, and that they themselves would never pay the cost. I paid for them to stay there. I was very disappointed as I live close by.
