Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Lancaster

This was a wonderful place. The staff, the breakfast, the gift of doggie bones for our two fur babies, and the outstanding fall that greeted us at the front entrance and through out the lobby and dining area by far made this a fantastic place to stay. The only small thing that kept us from 5 stars or 10/10 was the room did smell a little musty. However we would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience

We came to visit family, had a very nice stay. Clean comfortable room.. no complaints at all

The place was "OK" - you can tell they had given certain things a face lift (namely in the bathroom). I would hardly classify the rooms as "suites" (space-wise). The biggest complaint I have is that we left our kids' pillows in our room upon check-out. When I came back a few hours later (since we were still in the area after the kids' tournament), I spoke to the lady at the front desk, and she didn't seem to care to help. She said the room has already been given to someone. She didn't seem to mind that they could be using our pillows (which had a totally different pillow cover, vs the white ones provided by the hotel). All she said is that there's no manager on duty over the weekend. Not only did she have no idea what to do, my problem is that she didn't care. The staff from the day that I checked in, and when I checked out in the morning were fine, though.

Comfortable, quiet, family oriented.

Something was off about this place - not sure if it was just outdated and understaffed, but it was dark and depressing. The front desk staff was pleasant, but the rest of the staff was rude to guests. We witnessed cleaning staff give attitude to another guest and then talk about the guest behind her back right in front of us. A note in the room says if there’s anything they can do to make our stay more comfortable, let them know. I left a tip for the cleaning crew and asked for four sets of towels for us and our 2 kids - they took the tip, but never left us the towels. I can imagine what the staff said behind our backs. The hotel also claims that “due to Covid” cleaning staff will only change towels and throw out trash. I’m not sure how well the rooms get cleaned between stays as there was bits of trash on the floor and we found a pair of shorts on the floor in the closet. Our fridge wasn’t

Nothing too like about the property, noisy traffic all night, no amenities. The guests above us sounded as they had small kids because they were running, jumping from 11:00p to 12:30a. Calling the front desk didn’t help, they said he went up there to check but the floor was quiet. NO come into our room it was above us. I chose this property on reviews of others. Only thing I liked was their coffee, and the helpful housekeeping lady. Dark, and dingy but clean.

Extended weekend trip with our grandkids to see ABBA tribute band. Rooms were nice and the front desk staff very friendly. Carpets needed shampooing or replacement with some type of hard flooring. The coffee pot and maker were not clean in one room. There were no plates in the one room and the bottom of the plates in the other room were dirty. Also, the road noise in the one room was a bit of a problem. Overall, if a few of these things were addressed, we would stay at the Hawthorne Suites again.

Property is right off the highway. Stores are close by. Our room was pretty clean. The only downside was that the button for the bathtub didn’t work so when I bathed my children I had to keep the water running and a couple of the outlets on the nightstand didn’t work. But other than that I’m very satisfied with my stay.

The hotel and room were in excellent condition. My room was comfortable and fully stocked .the staff was friendly. The air conditioner worked well. My only complaint was that had I been traveling with grandkids, as usual, rising to eat a good and quick breakfast , I would have been very unhappy to find no eggs, and (really shockingly) no cereal at all in the breakfast room. I have never seen a hotel breakfast without ceareal. This hotel sits in the middle of vacationland for children. Please get some eggs, and absolutely GET CEREAL. Make a good hotel great.

Not really impressed. The hot breakfast that was offered was pancakes, some fruit, yogurt, and bread. It would have been nice to have cereal as an option for kids. The room had a weird layout and wasnt the cleanest.
