Comfort Suites Amish Country

The room suited my family just fine but I wouldn't stay here again. There were a few things that were small but bothersome and I'd look for a different hotel if I return to Lancaster. Specifically the things that bothered me - we found someone else's socks in the drawer. The bathroom door opening bunches the bathmat so it's always bunched up. The blackout curtains don't meet in the middle so there's always light coming in (I used clips from closet hangers to clip the curtains shut). The shower curtain isn't wide enough so no matter what your floor is getting wet. There are no hooks or anything to hangs jackets or backpacks.

Staff Was Friendly and Helpful!! Great location! Easy Parking! Large room. BUT the lighting in the Bathroom was DIM! Very Dark...The bed was a Queen with Clean Sheets! BUT Mattress felt like it had a hard rod in the middle of the Mattress and also the other bed was the same. Pillows were great! I did Not have time for breakfast But it smelled Great! It was included with room price so that makes it a great choice for families!

One of the cleanest and well maintained hotels i been to in a while. The pool area was nice. I booked a trip this weekend with my family after being there alone last weekend

The place was very nice and clean. Our room was comfortable for our family of 5. Breakfast was very good as well! My family and I enjoyed our stay and loved the location!

Staff at the front where wonderful at checkin that evening. Beds where comfortable and facility was clean. Morning breakfast service was Horrible! Closed the breakfast early cutting the lights off on people. Snatched up food kid was trying to get. Snatched away and huffing at us as if we where the the worst bother there was. At $270 a night I expect much better customer service. Felt as if a major hinderance to the staff. Will not return and will not utilize a comfort suits again. This was our second comfort suit facility on this trip and both where not worth the money spent.

The hotel room was really clean. It was spacious and our family of four has plenty of room. Although there were lots of people staying there, we couldn’t hear anyone in our room. We loved our stay!

Women at checkin was pleasant. The hotel looked a little dated, but the rooms were very spacious and updated. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable, pillows were not. Breakfast had good options. Woman working the breakfast area was pleasant. My biggest complaint was whoever was upstairs from us. We have 3 kids so I know kids make noise, but this sounded like a heard of buffalos running back and forth all morning and in the evening. It actually woke us up the two mornings we were there. We did say something and they were going to look into it. Even my kids were annoyed by it. Next day, after being woken up at 730 by the banging upstairs, we were told there was noone with kids above us. We were leaving that day anyways otherwise I would’ve asked to be moved. We didn’t use the pool at all, but it looked small. Quick drive to Dutch Wonderland and many restaurants near by.

The property was clean. The staff was ok. Most were nice except for 1 person. They have a very restricted smoking area, which is ok, but that area of the property was in great need of attention. The bench was not properly secured. Someone, especially a child could get hurt. Breakfast was nice, except the only meat was sausage, which I cannot eat.

This was a great experience for me and my family.
