It was horrible. 6th floor nightmare away from my family and all accommodation. Hared being next to the maids room noisy as hell. Mattresswere uncomfortable, pillows were tiny. The lighting in bstbroon to lut makeup on was awful, the lighting in the room was really awful. Made the stay deoressing. The bar d I wnstairs? Omg so slow service, lets not count the mjstakes. One nught, we booked ine dam night and ut was the worst experience I ever had.

We always stay at the Hilton when in town to visit family. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and the staff pleasant. Nice in and out parking for the convenient ramp next door. The breakfast needs work. On the weekend everything is advertised as opening at 6:30 daily but we were told to come back at 7am. We did..:they still didn’t have their act together so we went elsewhere for breakfast.

The room directly across from ours was having water issues, and their solution was a loud commercial fan blowing 24/7 in the hallway. In addition to this, they tried to mask the smell of mildew by over using a "linen" fresh scent...which just smelled like a face full of baby powder whenever you left the room. In addition to this, the sink was clearly under cleaned and the shower head was covered in rust. Overall I was unimpressed with the hotel.

I thought it was a great stay, the kids loved it. The breakfast was delicious. The only thing I didn't like is the extra charge per night to park the car. We were in Scranton PA not Washington DC or NYC. I think if you stat, the hotel should give you a vocher to park one car per night.

While the location of the Hotel was convenient in regards to what we were doing, the surrounding area of "Historic Downtown Scranton" wasn't the nicest area to hang around outside with your family after dark. The restaurants did deliver later at night which was convenient, i just dont think that I would stay at this location again based on future plans.

Convenient for downtown Scranton. Not that Scranton is much of a destination city, and my wife and I were just stopping here halfway on a road trip to see family, with Scranton being decided because we're big fans of The Office -- which wasn't filmed here, but does use names and businesses etc that are real in Scranton, so it's still fun to go have a pint at Poor Richard's for instance. Didn't get to the Market at Steamtown -- fka the Steamtown Mall and referenced/visited in the show. Anyway, it's fun to check out The Office spots regardless, and we took a short walk in the city. The Hilton was a good spot, not a terrible price, and was clean and comfortable. If we decide to make Scranton a stopover again, we'd probably stay here again as well.
