I booked the room for my wife who was on a family visit. After registering at the front desk, she went to the room and found a steaming hot room with out of order AC. When front desk didn’t answer her calls, she went back to the front desk and informed them of the problem. They sent a housekeeper who didn’t speak English and she just pulled the front cover off the unit and started to push around loose wires. My wife deemed the situation as a fire hazard and refused to stay at the room. The front desk just shrugged off the situation and didn’t even bother to offer her another room. She left and I booked her a room at a different hotel. When I called Hotels.com and requested a refund, they called the hotel and received an answer that there wasn’t any manager who could authorize the refund and to call back tomorrow. Well… I called back and again, they refused to refund the cost of the room. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

The pool area was not supervised, so a group of teenagers were very loud and nobody was there to calm them down! It ruined our stay! Only when I talked to the host she made them leave the pool! Any hotel makes sure that kids can’t use the pool without the parents. It was very disturbing 😳 I expected more from Mariout. Probably won’t be using it again.

It was "ok" when it comes to needing to be somewhere when you got 2 kids one being a 3 month old. My husband is not a fan of bugs so he ALWAYS checks the rooms before we unload and he INSTANTLY found 2 live bedbugs! He took pictures and went down to the front desk and she was nice...gave us another room....but it's still aggravating to haul 2 kids plus 2 carts full of stuff

Hotel has a potential to be nice however, it was very disappointing. Definitely needs updating. In room 216 alone the fridge does not work, the bathroom sink runs, the curtains dont close which is annoying since its at the front and the parking lot lights shine bright in room all night. The beds sag so much you feel like your sleeping in a hole on top of springs. The breakfast was decent but not kid friendly. Lastly. The pool was dirty and cold. Will not stay here again.

This was our second stay here. After a long day on the road being greeted by Sia at the front desk was perfect. She treated my wife and I like family. The same as she was on our first visit and is the reason we chose to stay here again.
