I chose a more expensive place for a couple of reasons. 1. So I could relax in the pool and hot tub and 2. I chose an “executive suite” with a kitchenette so we would be able to have family visit. The executive suite was not more than a king room with a bad sofa sleeper. My daughter slept on the floor. The kitchenette was a mini fridge and microwave, not even a sink or counter top. I got an email after the cancellation deadline that the fitness center and hot tub are closed. The hot tub is no longer there. Breakfast was very good Saturday, ran out of several things Sunday, and didn’t put as much out on Monday. Still better than continental though.

When we checked in the room i reserved wasnt what they gad me booked in. I told them i needed the sofa bed and we had 4 people 3 initially but 1 more had to stay with us. The sofa bed we got was only a twin and i told her if it didnt sleep 4 we would need to cancel and go elsewhere. She said it would sleep 4. One of our kids had to sleep on the floor.

Overall the stay has been decent. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are nice but tight for a family of 6. The only truly “bad” part was the room was supposed to be an executive suite with 2 queens and a double pullout couch to sleep 6. Sadly the pullout couch was actually only a single so we had to make do with a bunch of pillows for our 6th person. Inconvenient to say the least since a person doesn’t come with a bunch of extra things to accommodate what doesn’t work but it was fine. We didn’t complain we just made it work. Maybe they would’ve put us in a different room but we didn’t want to bother the staff nor move all our things again. Tired travelers just want to rest and relax, and that we did!!

My experience at this hotel has given me hope for customer service in general. I had called a couple days before my stay to make sure the pool was In Working order because it was the reason We chose to this location. Upon check in we found the pool had been closed that very morning for maintenance. With 4 disappointed grandchildren In tow ,the desk was eager to help me save face with the children and began to call around to find accommodations for me with a working pool. They found a beautiful room at the courtyard Marriott. I'm so grateful they saved the kids spring break and helped me earn big time points with them !! I just couldn't believe they'd go to so much trouble or care at all that we were trying to make memories. I don t know what to say except I'm so very grateful and I will be r Trading in my future Hampton inn stays for Fairfield stays. !!

I want to commend the midshift front desk person Tyler. before checking in I had called with a few questions and he had helpful answers at the ready. Once we checked in he offered local ideas for my family to experience. Tyler comes off as someone who really enjoys their work and it should be known! Breakfast was plentiful.
