Ramada by Wyndham Strasburg Dover

I would recommend this hotel to anybody who is going to the Canton area and doesn't mind being out of the city. Strasburg is only 18 miles from Canton. The Ramada was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was awesome. We got extra shampoo and towels and garbage bags with no problem. The breakfast was a little underwhelming. Bagels Belgian waffles and cereal, milk juice, tea and coffee. I would have loved to have been served scrambled eggs and bacon or and toast, there was no bread. The location is very convenient. It sits between Family Dollar and McDonald's. Within a mile and a half there are plenty of places to eat. Rosalie's diner is one that I would definitely recommend. They also have a farmer's market and 77 North entrance is within a mile also. When my family comes back to Canton we will definitely be booking here again.

Im not sure why but i have requested a ground level room because of my walking disability but have been given a 2nd floor room my lastb2 stays. I would understand if the ground level rooms were all filled with others with disabilities also but what i saw were kids and young adults coming from the ground level room. I wont be patronizing this hotel again.

This is our second time staying here. The first time was excellent. The second time was good except for the dog howling across the hall and the kids running and jumping in the room above us till after midnight. They started back up as soon as they woke up. Super annoying!!! I think if you have a bunch of kids you should stay on the first floor. This is something management should look at when booking guests.

Room was damp , very noisey with kids jumping up and down above us. We didn't even stay ,but about 2 hours and left .

Was very happy with the cleanliness. Had an issue with occupants above us with child running and jumping late at night and the front desk handled it appropriately. Will recommend..

Staff was nice, loved the room, and the kids enjoyed the pool.

For a family traveling with teens, the room provided the space we needed. The sink (two actually with a kitchenette sink) was outside the smaller toilet area which is a bonus. The room floor may or may not have been vacuumed before we entered. It was questionable. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast in the AM. Slept okay on beds. Front desk person was not very personable, but we tried to make her job easy.

Front desk clerk at check-in was not friendly at all. Bad first impression. Mattresses need to be put in the dumpster and replaced. Worst bed I have ever slept on in any hotel. I could not sleep because my whole body hurt from laying on that extremely worn-out mattress. The first night we called to say that we had no television. We were told by the same clerk that she didn't own a tv so she couldn't help us. Are you kidding me? Thankfully, the next morning when we called again, another clerk came up within minutes to fix the tv. Water in pool was extremely cold, so we were unable to use it. We never saw anyone else using the pool either, so I don't think it was just us finding it too cold. All in all, I think this hotel needs to pay more attention to their front desk staff, and place people there who know how to offer good customer service. And of course pay attention to things that are no longer working in their hotel rooms, mainly being MATTRESSES. I would not stay at this hotel again.

My family and I had a good one night stay at the Ramada by Wyndham. Our room was clean, but the only thing I wasn't crazy about was our bathroom smelling like cigarettes even though I did not see any. We went down to the indoor pool and hot tube. The hot tube was really nice and felt great, the pool was to cold for me. All in all it was a good stay.
