Hyatt Place Canton

We had a great stay when visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Clean, convenient hotel! My kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast.

Swimming pool was nice for the kids.

Located next door to skate and entertainment center made a fun night for the family poo, spa and fitness were 10 out of 10

it was perfect for what it was, a bed for the night, a small indoor pool for the kids to enjoy and a comp breakfast. It is the Ritz but it isn’t supposed to be so that’s fine…

My family and I book yearly when we visit Canton. The service is consistent; the price is reasonable; the pool is great as well as the location.

I don't write many bad reviews. Hyatt Place let me down. We stayed there for a family wedding over the weekend, We had 8 rooms. That's a lot of money for Hyatt Place. The rooms were ok, it was clean and the breakfast even better than most. It's not about the tv in my room being bad (it was) or the "Starbucks" coffee that was NOT Starbucks. This hotel let us down because the pool and hot tub were down and they didn't seem to grasp as a staff that it was an enormous reason why we chose to stay there with families and their kids. I booked it FOR the pool and hot tub, a week out I saw that it was under maintenance but would be available for our stay. Arrive to find out that it was not. I asked THREE different front desk people during our stay for some type of satisfaction on this for the group, was told they would speak to a manager but none came forth. The last day I simply asked if they could give the 4 kids a drink and a snack from the galley to make up for no pool and was again told they would ask a manager. No response. We spent an extra hour on the patio while our daughter opened cards and gifts from the wedding and nobody came out to even talk to us. That's terrible business. Hyatt Place got what they were supposed to get from me when I made my reservation. The price was to include a pool. It didn't. If you order a meal out and they don't have your side they give you something else or compensation. We got ignored. That's pitiful. Stay elsewhere. Our 30 people will.

We made last minute reservations due to a family funeral 💔 The hotel staff did a wonderful job making sure we were all together on the same floor and very close together.

Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. It felt very family friendly.

The breakfast was amazing. One of the best I have experienced. There was a family in the room above us that had children running around and jumping creating a lot of noise. You should put families on the first floor.
