This place is a split down the middle review. The positive: location in the area, the ROOMS are updated, modern , comfortable. The breakfast is good and most staff was helpful. Negative: the hotel itself is old and rundown looking. it does not seem safe. There are always sketchy looking people milling around outside. I felt uncomfortable and stuck in the room due to and You can’t walk from your room to the lobby indoors which is inconvenient because they don’t bring anything to you when they don’t give you supplies they expect you to drag your children thru the dark to walk outside to pick up towels they shorted you to fix their error. Only about 6/10 for cleanliness.

The room and the grounds were very clean. Bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the full size bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner mounted on the shower wall. The room had a kitchenette that had everything you needed if you wanted to prepare meals. They even had a grill you could use in the pool patio area. Breakfast they offered had a nice variety of items to choose from. Great value to families to have that instead of going out to eat. Food was hot and replenished frequently to make sure everyone had enough. All the staff members we came in contact with were very friendly. One of my favorite things about this hotel was that even though there were a lot of people staying there the room was very quiet. You could not hear everyone else.

We had to travel to Cleveland to visit a sick family member who ended up passing away during our stay. Grace, at the front desk, was EXTREMELY kind and helpful with help us make plans to return in a few days for the funeral. This was a difficult time for us and Grace really helped us out.

We stayed for three nights while we were in Ohio visiting family. The area of town was very nice, safe, and quiet. The property itself was well maintained and the pool was clean. There was hot breakfast every morning. The beds were very comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised that the ad said we were booking a two bedroom with two double beds and a pull out sofa but in reality it was a two bedroom with two KING beds and a pull out sofa. Every exchange we had with any staff was very pleasant and helpful as well. There were, however, some things the property can improve on. Our suite had carpet that was very gross, making our socks black on the bottom, and also the carpet was always moist. After the first time walking on it with socks we made sure that we all wore sandals at all times in the room. Also the bedding smelled dank/stale I think because of the moisture in the room. We had hoped that housekeeping would come in after the first night to change the bedding but they didn't come in at all, not even to give us clean towels. We did call after the second night and ask for a towel exchange but we ended up coming back to the room before housekeeping got there that afternoon. They were cleaning the room right across from us and unfortunately it smelled like the housekeeper was smoking weed while cleaning in there so we put out our magnet that said our room didn't need serviced since we did not want it to smell like disgusting weed in our room.

The hotel is very pretty and conveniently located. The provided beakfast was really good. The place was quiet. What keeps me from giving all 5 stars is the bathroom is tiny. It's so tiny that you have to walk in and stand next to the toilet in order to close and open the door. It would make sense to remove it and put a door at the entrance to the vanity. Also a coffee table would be nice and could be pushed under the desk when using the sleeper sofa. There were only 2 pans, enough plates and glasses for 4, and 1 coffee cup. Some plastic cups would be nice for kids. Also, when walking behind the room in the grass, I stepped in dog poop. Then I noticed other piles and kept my eyes where I stepped. Overall we enjoyed our stay but for the price per night I expected a little more.

We got a king 2 bed suite for family of 5. It was very comfortable, clean, enough space to spread around. Location was convenient to drive up and down from Cleveland for a event we were attending. Parking was easy. Breakfast was decent.

Our stay wasn’t great wasn’t great. Travelled from Toronto for the ballgame and switched from the Doubletree downtown to here, strictly for the pool and it was a wee bit cheaper. After melting all day at the ballgame we came back to a pool loaded with about 25 kids (not sure if they were all staying there but it appeared to be a family reunion or a party) and no room to even get in it. Hopped out and had a shower instead. Our toilet didn’t flush for 2 days and apparently maintenance came but still didn’t. So that wasnt pleasant. The pull out for my son had no sheets and they brought up a sheet and a pillow in the evening for him and there was 1 towel in the bathroom. Called the front desk way too many times. And we couldn’t even be moved as they were sold out. It just wasn’t a very pleasant stay for us.and I was truly regretting changing hotels.
