Have stayed at this location three times in the past few years. It is conveniently close to downtown to catch Indians/Guardians games. That being said, this latest stay was a disappointment from start to finish. Waited 15 minutes at check-in as no one was there to assist us. Our room wreaked of stale cigarettes. Our telephone was broken, along with a bathroom door which did not stay closed. We were given the bare minimum for towels. The maid service never came over our three day stay. Our room keys stopped working after the first night- which required a trip downstairs late at night to fix. There were no drinking cups for anyone. The best part was definitely the party held in a room across the hall from us late Saturday night until 1 in the morning. Adults screaming; little children running and yelling. The people in the room next to us began shouting at the people at the party….it was nuts and I really began to question the safety of my family. We called downstairs (using our own phone- because again- the room phone was broken) and explained the problems occurring outside our door. We suggested they send someone up or even notify the police- no one ever came. An otherwise great trip to Cleveland was tainted by this terrible experience at Extended Stay. I would recommend that if you value the safety of your family, the cleanliness of your room and the attentiveness of the staff- stay elsewhere.

Had a bunch of kids with me including crawling infants. They crawled on our hotel room floor for about 10 min or so and my kids feet were covered in black dirt.. they both ended up with a small eye infection.. and me and my wife both got sick two days after our stay…the room looked clean but the floor was clearly not

This was a family vacation. I requested on Hotels.com that payment at be made at arrival. The hotel charged my credit card 5 hours before arrival including previously undisclosed fees. My credit card company rejected the transaction as fraudulent and Extended Stay cancelled our reservation before arrival. This issue took over 2 hours to resolve and the hotel did not accept any responsibility.
Breakfast was described by hotel staff as ‘COLD.’ It was terrible. No cereal or bread or oatmeal. Forget eggs and bacon. Just some awful tasting hard-boiled eggs in refrigerator, no juice or even water, ONLY high calorie granola and other fig/fruit bars, and terrible oranges. Not even apples. No fruit juice—only coffee.
Also, the side entrance door to hotel, next to the pool and ‘exercise’ room, was left open at night. Apparently, there is not any security personnel working at even with over 80% occupancy!
Next day, we made reservations on Hotels.com at Sleep Inn--almost 40% cheaper. great ‘hot’ breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. We made fresh waffles and several fruit juices, cold yogurt, and hot oatmeal were available. Based on price/poor service, I will not ever return to this overpriced and poor quality hotel. Most cleaning staff could not understand English; many could be unauthorized workers. I hope that this review saves some families from suffering from a similar terrible experience. Shame on corporate managers of Extended Stay Hotel America!

This was the worst experience I ever had at a hotel. Called ahead because our travel there was delayed and were not going to make check in time. Told them we are still coming but will be late like 2-3am. Guy on the phone said OK no problem. Got there at 2:45am. Went to check in and guy at the desk said they had no rooms available anymore. I argued with the guy and he said he had a room that the AC was not working in but could put us in there for the night and would get us a room in the morning. We decided to take it but the room was filthy, floor was sticky and smelled. Next day went to get a new room. Told nothing was available for us. Said they could have a guy look at the AC or we could leave. I had a wife and 3 kids. We booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. The room we booked was 2 queen beds. We went to eat and call 30 other hotels for something else. Nothing available, went back AC was working so we took the room. Came back to the room AC was broke not working again. Had to sleep in a hot room. Next day repair guy came did something and he gave me a screwdriver to fix it myself if it went out again. Asked to have the room cleaned, said they did but was still filthy. Never was able to speak with a manager poor customer service. I tried to get a refund for the 2 nights with no AC and a discount on the room since we paid for 2 queen beds. Nope would not do that. They also told us we had to check out a day early cause that is what they had. Nope

We were traveling for a Gaurdians game. Was able to get right in to check in and agter the game. The little grab and go breakfest was great for our family. Definitely will stay again.

The staff was professional, kind and curteous. Our suite was clean and we loved thevirw. The pool was wonderful for the kids. The grab and go breakfast was ok.

We stayed two nights. For the price I would have stayed elsewhere. The room floor was very dirty. After showing I could see dirt on my feet. The pool was cloudy and the water was cold. The grab and go breakfast was muffins, granola bars and coffee- no fruit or anything for the kids to drink.
The staff was very friendly. The location was great- easy to get downtown and several restaurants and a grocery store nearby.

It was the worst experience I've ever had. We were a family of 5 people in Total and they gave us a very small room so we asked them if we could change the room and I told them that I could pay the difference but no body said anything. The bathroom used to smell bad and it was very small.

The staff was incredibly rude, under staffed, I heard several families complaining and they removed one families belonging from their room. I would never stay there again!

I was expecting to enjoy time in the pool with my children, but the water from start at stay to the time we left was cloudy and filthy. The place has a musky smell. All vending machines were out of order. No where outside surrounding area to sit, to get out of hotel room.
