The hotel is very dated. We checked in at 4:00 and were told our room was not ready yet. We had a junior suite. The room was very dirty. We closed the drapes to take a nap and a valance came crashing down on us. The lighting in the room is placed very inconvenient and did not work. There was one elevator and you had to wait forever for it to come to your floor. Make sure you have slippers or your feet will be black. We ate at the hotel and it took us a party of six over two hours to be served. The food was terrible and expensive. You need a car if you want to “run out” to get anything as there is nothing around the hotel at all.

Front desk staff was great. Quick and easy check in. Area was about 8mins from downtown area, which was fine considering how much cheaper it was to stay. About 7 mins from little italy. Family stayed 2 nights the breakfast buffet was not that great and it was $15usd each pretty expensive for a bowl of cereal and an apple juice. And the worst part about it was no one came in to clean The room. We had dirty baby diapers in the garbages the entire 2 days and bed and towels were not cleaned or changed.

The rooms are extremely spacious and clean. I loved the hardwood floors and antique feel of the place. The front desk workers were hit or miss, with some very friendly people and others who were not very helpful. You have to pay to park, which I find a little annoying but it is what it is. The food in the bar at the hotel was decent if a little pricey. Overall, we thought it was very comfortable, clean and safe. Would stay again and recommend to family/friends.

We booked a double queen suite for our family of 5 - the beds were comfortable and the room had plenty of space for the 5 of us, but the sofa bed was really not in great shape and my son had a tough time sleeping on it (even for a sofa bed). Loved the architecture, parking was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was coming to Cleveland for our annual pick up of our college age daughter who is a student at nearby Case Western. I’m a Hilton member so I decided to try this hotel although we usually stay on campus at Glidden house. I had to teach virtually & my younger daughter had to attend school remotely so I called to inquire about their business center. I spoke w/manager ahead of my visit who was very accommodating & offered me either conference space or his office for my mtg. the morning after our arrival. Relieved, I walked down to the front desk 40 minutes prior to my meeting and explained the arrangement I’d made. The “supervisor “ Frankie, told me she had no idea who I’d spoken with since that person didn’t sound like anyone who worked there. “Did you call this hotel?” She asked. I went back to my room to await a call that never came and called her 15 minutes prior to the start of my class to check the status. She told me that I’d never called the hotel, there was no such person as I claimed to have spoken with and the only thing she could offer was an open desk in middle of the lobby. I wound up teaching a very loud day with 120 kids in my hotel room. The hotel mgr I’d spoken with called me afterwards, reiterated our conversation & apologized for Frankie’s rude behavior but I will not return there ever again. She never apologized even while checking me out and honestly, I felt so discriminated against by a woman of color who wouldn’t give good service to another POC.
