Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland University Circle/Medical Center

Unfortunately I hate to say this because I had been here before with family staying there due to location to the hospital and felt it was a nice hotel and clean. The garage and staff were nice, but once I got to the room I could barley open the door and then the door wouldn’t lock. I went down to the front desk and was told maintenance would be up. After an hour I returned and was told they had left hours ago. I had to change rooms which I was fine with because the first room was dirty ( mucous looking stuff on the wall, dust caked in the vents, crumbs In the dish holder and frig, as well as old popcorn on the floor), the mattress had no protector on it and the mattress pad was completely ripped. the second room was cleaner but there was greasy finger marks on the microwave and all over. Unfortunately due to all these issues I was in able to settle in my room until midnight with a need to get to the hospital by 5 am. It’s a nice place but communication and housekeeping need some improvement.

Our stay was amazing! The room was huge, very spacious for our family. It was also very clean and came with more than what we needed for a night. This would be a great hotel to stay at for an extended stay. Everyone here was very friendly and accomodating!

King suite was perfect for our family of four. Pool was clean and good temp. Breakfast was delicious and expansive. Based on the description I was expecting grab and go continental, but it was a full breakfast buffet.

Our room stunk so bad like wet dog the floor and carpet was disgusting. The staff was cool but I couldn’t get comfortable because the stench was horrible. We had our baby with us I’m sad she had to experience this. We will be showering and bathing thoroughly after leaving that stinking room. Ew. Replace the carpet or at least clean the carpet

Great safe location and easy to get in and out of. Was there with kids for ball games.

Clean, friendly staff, easy check in and check out, nice room, comfortable bed, and breakfast was good. One of the best hotel stays our family has had . Will definitely visit again if we are back in the area.

I was stunned by the lack of professionalism displayed my Deseree. During the check in process she answered a FaceTime call on speaker phone to speak with who I assume is her child. She checked me into room 430, housekeeping was still in the process of cleaning the room when I arrived and was very surprised that I had been assigned that room, housekeeping was as friendly, cleaned as quickly as possible and let me enter the room. I set my stuff down after a long flight, used the restroom and went to grab something to eat. I returned with my sandwich and stopped at the pantry for bottled water, Deseere attempted to charge the water to my room, I provided her with the room number and she replied, you can’t be in that room. I assured her that was the room she just assigned to me. She told me to take the water and not to worry about it. When I returned to my room the keys would not let me access the room. I returned to the front desk, Deseere explained that I was in room 413 not 431 she provided me with new keys, I explained that my bags are now locked in room 431 to which she replied, “here take my key to go get your stuff, but bring it back to me.” Unbelievable service!

I notified the hotel that our flight was changed, delayed checking in around 1145 pm, no car until next day. Our King suite had old food still left in fridge, dirty on top, and crumbs, dirty mattress pad on sofa dleeper3. Also only 1 bath towel, forv3 of us, and not extra toilet paper. When mentioned this to 2 different front desk staff, no apology, very curt. Then 2 days later a couoke with a loud, screaming toddler checked in next to our room with an adjoining door, heard this kid from about 8 to 11 or so each night. Would not stay again.
