Staybridge Suites Columbus-Airport, an IHG Hotel

Nice big 2 bedroom suite, perfect for family

I actually stayed lot of times but April 2023. I stayed four nights with my children for spring break. We got two rooms in my room with my husband when the heat clicks on it makes a loud noise and it stays loud until it shuts off. Other than that, I love the Staybridge

The stay was not to bad but the guy at the front desk was not welcoming. His body language and tone of voice was not welcoming. The pool was closed and there was no kind of accommodation for that. It is not posted on the website or was in told before hand and I had kids with me. There little red and green spots on the wall. There was also some little brown spots on the was as well. Only one was cloth. Part of the wall in the other bathroom was broke. There is $100 damage fee that is not posted anywhere on their website and I looked everywhere. Needles to say I will not be back.

This is our second time staying at this property. The first time, the gentleman that checked us in didn’t seem to know what he was doing with the computer and printing a receipt. Spent an extended amount of time at the desk just trying to get checked in. We finally got our keys and went to the room that he assigned to us. Imagine our surprise when after opening the door, there’s a whole family sitting in this room. We realize that mistakes happen and decided to give the location another try for this trip. Same exact thing happened. The same gentleman was working the front desk and seemed very confused with the move-in process and had difficulty again checking us in and getting us our receipt to sign. we again went to our assigned room and while thankfully no one was in there, it was obviously already assigned to someone else, as there were their personal belongings all over the room. In today’s day and age, this could prove to be a very, very dangerous situation. I can only imagine how I might feel if somebody came barging into my room unexpectedly.

My family (2 adults, 1 child) stayed here for one night. First impressions in the lobby were favorable; they keep it up very nicely and it feels inviting. The amenities were great (pool until 10pm, 24/7 fitness, business center, free wifi). The free breakfast was much better than at the Hampton Inn in the Easton area we stayed at the day before. Only downsides were that the rooms and building felt really dated. The pull-out bed in our room was so uncomfortable that my 9yo son just slept on it in couch form. The bathroom was tiny and hard to move around in. I loved the kitchenette though, with included dishes and dishwasher, and the ful-sized fridge / freezer. Overall a great stay, but it would be better if they took time to update some things.

I was on a week long trip with friends from Columbus traveling back Put in Bay. Stayed here to visit family before heading back to South Carolina. Just what I needed to rest before continuing my drive. Room was very clean and had all amenities I needed

We stayed here while on a mini vacation to the Ohio State Fair. I had never stayed at a Staybridge Suites before. My husband and I took our 2 children, ages 8y and 10m. We were brought extra pillows, bedding, and a crib promptly upon request. The staff were friendly, polite, and very efficient. The room had a full kitchen and a pullout couch bed. Someone "burned popcorn" but it smelled like very bad weed. The staff did everything necessary to remove the smell from the hallway immediately, which we appreciated. The breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again.

My family and I stayed here while in town for the state fair and to visit the zoo. The location is pretty good, close to most places to visit. Area is convenient to convenience stores and some restaurants. Older hotel, could use some maintenance. Staff were pleasant for the most part. I would consider staying again, if visiting Columbus ever again.

My room was clean and comfortable. It was nice having a full size refrigerator. We had 3 rooms and were in town for graduation. A family with lots of people were having a party and took over the entire fire pit area all day on Saturday. Also there was a pool party with so many people and with kids and teenagers and others diving in the pool and was very loud. We could not stay with our 5 year old because the screaming and jumping was a lot. We noticed others also turned away with their young kids as well. The staff on duty did not address the matter even though they saw the many cars pulling up and dropping off many kids who were not staying at the hotel and a party went on all evening . We felt like we were in a public park. The staff member was told and did not address the matter of the loud and unruly behavior at the pool which was also dangerous. It was not the property that was disappointing but the unconcern of the staff member lady on duty and i would have understood but the hotel was not busy with guest checking in after 5pm when this was all still going on until dark. we stayed in the lobby and talked until about 7:45 before we headed out to dinner and was grateful that the lobby area inside was comfortable.

Very neat and CLEAN!!! Staff was overall very friendly as well. Dec come back and refer friends and family!!
