When we arrived there were people hanging out of car windows in the parking lot, blocking the entrance to the back of the building which was the first red flag. I headed inside to check in and the front desk guy was on his phone and didn’t look up for at least 1 minute before he noticed me standing there. This was the 2nd red flag. The first room smelled like sewerage. It was unbearably awful. This was the third red flag, but it was getting late, I was tired and my card had already been charged. They moved us to a different room which was much better as far as smell goes, but could be cleaner and they ran out of extra towels. When we called for service, they told us to come down and grab the items. This was a new experience, but not a big deal. We were told to wait until the morning to get clean hand towels. The 2nd night there seemed to be a party right above us. The walls are so thin, we could hear entire conversations. For this to be a newer hotel, it seems to be very poorly built and not taken care of. The breakfast was terrible! I wouldn’t feed this food to my dog. If I had to guess, the eggs and sausage were cooked in the microwave. The counter tops and food areas were nasty. They had a young kid working in the breakfast area, who appeared to be between the ages of 10-13. The rate was ok, but considering all things, they were over priced. I will not be staying here again no matter the circumstances. Very poor!

Employee who was in charge of breakfast deliberately threw away cups of juice i had put on the table to retrieve just a few minutes later. The elevator was a whole issue, too many people, not enough elevator. A bunch of kids were screaming and running down the hallway. The staff don’t have friendly attitude they frown and don’t like African Americans people.

The walls are super thin. I had to call for security, because the people upstairs from us played music all night, argued her and there, till 5 AM with the infant crying in the background. They did nothing about it so unfortunately, I had to stay up and endure the noise of the arguing, the music and the baby crying 😡 until they were ready to fall asleep!

We were there for Cheer nationals with my family. The hotel was clean, and i appreciated the clean towels everyday. Definitely the best sleep i ever had in a hotel. Check in was fast and efficient. I enjoyed that it was close to restaurants, and a short distance to our venue.

I booked one night for our family trip to Ohio prior to flying home the next day. Room was fine except for one broken LED bedside lamp. Oddly, the front desk gave us a review mirror tag to identify our vehicle as staying overnight. It turns out that became a flag for locals to break into our rental vehicle around 4am. In the morning I found a window smashed but nothing stolen. The front desk person used packing tape to secure a plastic bag over the opening as it had been raining. Front desk said they tried to call the room but there was no answer. There was no voice mail light on the phone and we found the ringer was broken anyways. Columbus Police doesn’t send officers for this so I had to file the report online. As we cleaned up the glass two other guests said their vehicle was broken into the previous night and their handgun was stolen. Hotels in this area make for a perfect source for criminals. New vehicles arrive daily, the hotel has the guests hang a tag in the window to easily identify them. The following Monday the hotel owner called and offered a full refund of $160. The check arrived but was only for $95. A return call to the owner was ignored. The damage cost me $333.80 out of pocket to prevent an increase in my personal vehicle insurance rates. Between the lack of security, the lack of notification after the incident and the shorted refund I was promised I won’t be back and highly recommend anyone look at staying away from hotels in the the Cassady Avenue area.

Bad weekend for us. Friday night had a domestic dispute that went all night long and second night had a family reunion that finally ended when two women were arguing about who was being too loud. Comfy beds.

After driving for over 10 hours we arrived at the hotel an hour earlier then check in time. With two little kids and a dog we were exhausted. They checked us-in early which we greatly appreciated I have been to other places in the same situation where they made us wait.

You can tell everything was recently new construction in the area including the hotel. The staff was able to ensure my family with 2 rooms was close and had rooms across the hall from each other. Complimentary water bottles and breakfast were nice touches as well. I felt comfortable in this hotel as everything was clean. Pool was nice for the family to swim in as well. I would definitely recommend this and possibly book at this hotel again in the future. Straight shot to the zoo as well.

I booked this hotel the night before our flight out of Columbus airport. The hotel guaranteed me parking (that I had to pay extra for) while we was gone for the week and a guaranteed shuttle to and from the airport. They drove us to the airport the morning of the flight and they told us we call when we land when we come back and they would come get us. The day we came back, we called the hotel from the Orlando airport and told them what time we would land and the girl at the desk told me to call once we landed and they would be there in about 15-20 mins. So I called once we got to Columbus airport, and suddenly they changed their mind and said “sorry, we have no one to come get you. Get a taxi” keep in mind that I had a 4 & 8 year old, along with myself and my husband and 4 large suitcases. My family and our luggage would not be fitting in a suit case. I ended up speaking with Raju- the owner/manager and he was very nasty with me. Told me he would pay me back for a taxi, but would not be refunding or giving me a discount for the parking and their guaranteed shuttle service. Their customer service is terrible and I will never be staying there again. Onto the rooms- rooms were ok, very hot in the rooms and it would not cool down. The safe had crushed up crackers inside of it. My husband is a police officer and she said they give first responders discounts, but said she didn’t know how to give them so we couldn’t have it. This is a poor hotel and I do not suggest staying there.
