Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Airport

This was a last minute trip due to a family member being hospitalized. The front desk clerk was so nice and asked about the situation and showed genuine concern which was so nice. We had an issue with the TV and had to call maintenance and that gentleman was up to our room in about 5 minutes and quickly solved the problem. The staff was very friendly. The bed was pretty low to the ground and a little harder than I like, but the room was clean and comfortable.

1st impressions.... Front desk clerk Jada was fantastic! So friendly & helpful. She got us an extra blanket with no problem...Even when she got busy, we noticed she treated every customer like they were the most important. She even treated the kids like they were special. Thanks to her our stay was awesome.

We had a king bed and sofa bed. There were no linens or pillows for sofa bed. I went down on our way to dinner and asked them to send them to our room. They would not. I had to wait until the front desk person went to get them and then I took them back to our room. We had two bath towels in the room. I called down to ask for two more as we had two adults and a child in our room. Again was told I had to come down to get them. The door would sometimes not open even with the green light on. Told the front desk and they said we know that that’s an issue and will try to get to someone who can figure out. Also there was an employee/management issue. The employee was trying to speak with the manager and she was obviously concerned about something. He, I felt, blew her off and said I’m not dealing with this now. I’m going golfing. We typically stay in Marriotts, but this was not a a typical Marriott stay.
