Best Western Plus Hannaford Inn & Suites

Nice outdoor pool which was great for kids. Beds and tv was good. Free parking. Free breakfast. Good hotel for the price.

I generally stay at this hotel at least once or twice a year when visiting family nearby, and I've seen it go through many changes in the last decade or so. It has definitely improved many aspects that were slipping, and the friendly service has usually made up for any inconveniences in the process. It seems each room has its issues, and this time it was the shower door in rm 307 that would roll back open--hard to shower with one foot holding a door in place. It was mentioned to the front desk but nothing was done before the next day's shower. The heat in that room was also hard to regulate, though no issues in other rooms I've stayed in here. Still, the convenience and quality for the price keep me coming back.

Associates in the hotel were very welcome to my family. We were in trouble with Hair Dryer, but they helped us soon. We like this hotel and associates.

The staff was very accommodating and paid attention to our needs. They were very helpful in getting us the things that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The suite was a good size to where we were not on top of one another. It was spacious enough for our family of 4. The food, coffee and hot chocolate was good. It was located in a great area. It was quiet but close enough to shopping centers and restaurants. I would stay here again.

Had a good stay and will likely book several rooms for a family event next Spring. Sharing a few thoughts that will hopefully be helpful for potential guests and for hotel management: 1. Staff is very friendly & helpful 2. Hotel is adjacent to I-71. You can hear highway vehicles in many of the rooms. Closing the thicker room darkening curtains helped block the noise in my room. 3. Bathrooms are being updated to remove bathtubs and install walk-in showers. Some rooms have not been updated yet. 4. Pull-out sofa bed in my room was uncomfortable to sit on and fraying on the bottom. 5. Our towels the first night were thin and undesirable. Towels the second night were thick, soft & great! 6. Breakfast is standard and starts at 7:30am. This time is a little late for guests who need to get an early start. 7. Fitness Room in the basement was unlocked and did not require a keycard. I would have felt safer with a clear glass door and keycard entry. 8. Area is safe with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Really likable staff. Breakfast was standard but good and clean. Parking lot between the pool and the hotel was literally a garbage dump. I was scared to walk my grandkids there because of the full dumpsters and old hotel furniture just tossed off to the side.

The room I was given was run down and dirty, it smelled of urine and found when pulled out bed in pullout couch, this is where the smell of urine came from. It was after midnight in a single night stay with very tired children. Reported it, was not offered anything to fix we had adjoining rooms so piled into the room that didn’t wreak of human urine and stale pot smoke. Overall should have been compensated or Atleast given another room. Shame on this hotel for giving this room to anyone with a urine soaked pullout couch.

Walked in they were remolding so the floor was tore up. I have kids. That’s not very safe especially with it being uneven and the cart to take my luggage up with broken and I had to fight with it all the way to my room. We also enjoy the free breakfast and they did not have this because we were remodeling. They should advertise this before they book a room. My rate was non refundable so I didn’t have a choice but to stay.

Choose hotel with a pool for kids to enjoy and pool was broke down the entire four days...even with this disappointment I give it a high five. Attendant was friendly and helpful, rooms were nice..Definitely will use again.

For our recent family get-together, this hotel was the best value, taking into consideration a location most convenient for us, and the amenities that some of us needed (kitchenette). Additionally, we needed to rent a meeting room, and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating! Beverages were readily available in the dining area. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the temperature was chilly at first, and I didn't realize there was a spare blanket in with the extra pillows in the closet. The bed and pillows weren't the absolute most comfortable I've ever had, but they were supportive, and we got a restful night's sleep, with no neck or back aches in the morning (always a plus!), so I certainly can't complain! Overall, a very pleasant experience.
