Holiday Inn Express and Suites-Cincinnati NE - Red Bank Road, an IHG Hotel

We had a great stay, Breakfast was great. Very clean. The pool was perfect for the grandkids. Very nice facility with great staff at front desk and at the breakfast area.

Pool was not operational and I found a dead spider on pillow. I would not have booked if I would have known the pool was not open. I had 2 kids on the stay with me who were excited about the pool. The staff told me I would get a $35 refund but when I called back they said they couldn’t.

I like the closeness to my family’s home that I was in town to visit. Staff members were friendly, and breakfast had many good offerings.

Friendly customer service staff, safe and quiet , close to amusement parks for kids.

The staff was amazing ! Everyone was really kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, as soon as I got in the elevator, the smell was so overwhelming, I had to hold my nose. I have children, chamged many diapers in my day... but THIS smell took me out. The room smelled like mildew and something else I can't place. The bathroom floor was visably dirty... stains all over the carpet. Headboard, desk and couch soiled...

The carpet needed vacuumed. The infant crib that I asked for was soooo nasty and they didn't give bedding for it. I always bring lysol wipes when staying at any hotel and they most definitely came in handy. The sofa bed was disgusting, not sure if someone bleed on it or if it was red juice. The pool is smaller than in the pictures. The water in the pool was brown, so we definitely didn't get in. I guess I was expecting more for the amount we paid.

Our family had a great stay at the Cincinnati Holiday Inn. The room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious, the internet was fast and reliable, the pool area was immaculate and well-kept, and the staff was friendly.

We've stayed at this hotel before. I'm not sure what's happened, but the quality has substantially changed. While the staff was pleasant and courteous, the overall condition of the hotel was satisfactory at best. There was a sign on the door that said masks were required. However no one (not even the staff) was wearing them. There was a group of "guests" (maybe a family reunion) who seemed very familiar to staff members and were treating the hotel like their personal resort. The indoor pool is adequate in size, but not when there are thirty people swimming. The kids were overrunning the fitness room and again not following COVID protocol. The lobby computers were being used to play video games and when done weren't being wiped down. The group was very noisy and were finally told by another guest to hold it down. Additionally, my room was not cleaned well. I found old food in the corners under both beds and there were dark spots at the top of the shower that looked like mold. At one point I took off my shoes, only to find that the carpeting was slightly "sticky" ( I put socks on). Additionally, as I walked the hallways, there were crushed crumbs along the floor. At one point a hotel "guest" was vacuuming the hotel and their room. I was very disappointed as I've always found Holiday Inns to be a reliable, clean place to stay. But I will not be staying at this one again. For a few dollars more, you can stay at the hotel at the just a few hundred yards away.
