DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh Crabtree Valley

This DoubleTree was in a great location for shopping and dinning. The staff was very helpful and welcoming and the building was very clean and in a safe area. Only negatives to our stay were no indoor pool for the kids and no free breakfast. Except for those factors I would highly recommend as a quality hotel to stay in while visiting Raleigh, NC!

Terrible...they had some piping issue and apparently tried to get in touch with me, but I never heard anything. They sent us to the embassy suites up the street. We had another person in the car that being in another hotel was not the best. Plus lots of other friends at this hotel and gee no one else was moved or said they heard of any issues. I think they over booked and lied. We had already had a long day on 95 and this just put the icing on the cake. The lady behind the counter was rude at first, until I got my point across. You don't tell the customer that you are now moving to another hotel, that "thing happen". Not when we are there for an event with other people. Will not book there again even when i come to see family. However, the embassy suites was amazing.

My reservation was canceled by DoubleTree, and they passed the buck onto Expedia, saying it was your doing. I could not travel due to sickness in the family; and my guests (who were listed on the reservation) never got to see the cleanliness of the room, or experience anything else except disappointment and embarrassment as they were told they had no reservation. A little girl was there to spend an exciting 2 nights in celebration of her 6th birthday, and apparently Doubletree could care less. Thankfully, Expedia has a better customer relations savvy—I was contacted, via several emails, saying that a full refund has been submitted (which is currently pending). For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend this particular DoubleTree. Thank you for asking, and for caring more about your customers than profits.

Conveniently located but the Check-in was ok. Could have been more "glad to see me", "glad you choose us", and we didn't get our warm cookies. The check-in process was mechanical at best. No towel rug for the bathtub. The AC made noise when it came on. My wife disappointed and expected more from the Hilton family.
