The property was bright and clean. I would guess with the coastal air it is a challenge to keep all things functioning in top form. We rented two rooms. One AC unit did not cool the first night. I called the desk and within the hour the entire unit was replaced without any inconvenience to us at all. The cleaning staff that I attempted to interact with did not speak English tho they were quite nice. I would suggest the manager teach them just a couple English phrases that might be commonly asked: 'check out is at noon'; 'breakfast is 6:30-9:30am'... There is a sports pub restaurant, a Mexican restaurant, a German restaurant and a breakfast diner to eat all within 200-300 feet out the Hotel front door. King St. sports pub food was excellent; friendly staff. We went to Isle of Palms public beach. Again everyone was friendly. There is a parking area that is $15 for the day; as you go over to the island it is on the left end...otherwise parking is dismal. At the parking lot is direct access to the public beach, rentals for umbrellas and chairs tho they can not be taken further down the beach so we plan next time to bring out own. The rental requires their items to remain between the pier and a particular blue house which is not a wide beach area and gets crowed with families. Back to the hotel...great deal and nice place to stay. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for family wedding. Very clean. Good breakfast. Good location in close proximity to family and venues. Two downsides- parking after returning from the wedding was non- existent. Had to park in adjacent professional building lot and worried all night about getting towed. Also, none of the bedside charging stations or outlets worked so had to use one by the tv. Not terrible, just inconvenient. Plus- even though there was no pool, there is agreement with nearby hotel to use theirs.

Don’t stay on a weekend! College kids slamming doors, yelling all night and mgmt couldn’t handle it. Otherwise decent place!
