We stayed at the Indigo Hotel for four days and I would recommend it. We had daily housekeeping service, it was clean and as women travelers we felt safe here. It was in walking distance to many restaurants. However, it is adjacent to the interstate and while we were on the eight floor we can still hear the traffic at night although it was not too bad but it may be if your room is in a lower floor. There is no small refrigerator, no safe in the room and no full restaurant. There is a bar and you can order a light meal? We walked to a restaurant two blocks down for breakfast. I would like to point out that aside from the restaurants in downtown Asheville there is nothing else to do and most close by 9 p.m or earlier. If your interested in drinking and partying then by all means stay in downtown Asheville. But if your a family with small children or Seniors or like us women in our late forties then look elsewhere. I would suggest staying near Biltmore Town Square ( I believe that’s the name) or if your taking a hiking tour stay near those areas because those places are far from the hotel (32 miles for our hiking tour meetup and Uber was expensive). We went to other nearby neighborhoods and it was much nicer/ prettier and with better restaurants and movie theaters and no homeless people and family friendly and safer when crossing the streets.

Great location and very nice hotel! We would stay again if the service was consistent. Understand that you have to have rules but if you do they need to apply to all. We were told we couldn’t bring in a drink (while the 3 of us were all ordering from the bar). However a family was able to bring a cake and water for everyone in their party while purchasing nothing from the hotel. Fair for one fair for all.

We had a wonderful stay at the Indigo! The staff is helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and well-appointed. We had some great conversations with the bartender about music and Ashville being a fantastic destination. I have already recommended the hotel to family and friends.
