Great place to stay in Asheville. Convenient to restaurants and activities for the whole family.

They had to move us to a sister hotel, and they gave us a room with one bed and small, I had to complain about it, to get a bed for my children

The hotel has historic charm with modern amenities. The location is perfect and the service was outstanding. The hotel is easy to navigate with a baby stroller and offered several different room options to meet our needs as a family. Valet parking is an additional fee, but much less expensive than a parking ticket!

This was a great hotel!! The room was definitely bigger than expected which was beneficial for our family of four and dog! The hotel was super close to a lot of things to do! The restaurant in the hotel was PHENOMENAL! Would definitely recommend and will stay again!

Liked the location, very close to a variety of restaurants and shops. We were able to walk everywhere. It was perfect for our small family reunion as there were lobbys with good seating and tables that allowed us to spread out old family pictures. Isa's restaurant easily accomodated our party of nine and the food was good. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The hotel is also a scheduled stop on the trolley tour. Our 2 room suite was spacious and comfortable. We would have liked to have had both elevators operating. We only had one available during our 3 night stay.

Very Lovely Hotel...It was our 1 year anniversary. So my hubby and I took the trip to see the Biltmore tour. We travel often and are members of a reward group but we wanted a more luxurious stay and HAYWOOD was referred. Natalie was pleasant and went out of her way to help with our reservation due to booking thru a 3rd party and it was scheduled for the wrong date. We booked for a MASTER but was so-called upgraded to 1 less. No jetted tub. No robes. No Microwave..Was MORE like a DOWNGRADE!!! AND after Natalie got off it went downhill from there. We had to make 2 separate calls for fresh towels...The next door couple were arguing in the foyer on our floor for about 2 hours that night and I had to call the FD to get someone to ask them to pipe down. Then after breakfast (burnt potatoes) I stopped by the FD at 10:12 am to reqst late check out bcus I think Natalie forgot to code it during the check in confusion. The brunette at the FD was soooo snide she didn't even look at me. She pretended to write something down and that caused hsekpng to knock on the door at 11. I told her (HK) we rqstd late c/o and she said ok. Next thing I know the FD called us asking when we were leaving? I WAS LIVID! Coming from a VERY mixed family, It's bad enough that we were getting snarly looks in that area all weekend and there weren't that many people of our color there; but to be thrown out of a room that was paid for by the same color of money as others, was simply duplicitous! NEVER AGAIN!!!
