Our family loved this hotel! We played giant connect four and pet the adopt a dog in the lobby. Decor was very cool and fun. Clean, safe, and just very different than a chain

The hotel was decent but could have improved slightly. I got confused in the parking lot getting to the lobby. The streets of Asheville are HORRIBLE. They are dirty, drug addicts and beggars on every corner. Crackheads smoking pipes and the police just drive by and look the other way. The bed in the room we stayed in was super duper firm and almost felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The room was fairly recently updated or well kept but moldings were still coming off. We had a decent view. There were a ton of people with dogs in the hotel. The dogs or people were not loud at all even though we were just next to the outside bar/pool area. The view was nice from the room and the patio bar. The bartenders and other staff were super nice. Overall, it was a nice hotel but due to the unsafe environment just outside of the hotel, we will not go back to Asheville until they clean up their city. I would never take my kids there.

Disappointing. They tried so hard to be trendy, they forgot the essentials. We drove around the block twice. A sign saying,"hotel parking" would have been nice. So you park, drag your bags to the elevator, to find that you then need to walk to a different elevator to access the hotel. Again, signage. We were given a mountain view room facing the pool. A pool party was going on and when we opened the door to our room, all we heard was loud pool partying and boom boom boom. We went back to reception to get a different room. But, we couldn't get new keys because our stuff was in the original room (630).Sooo we had to get our things out of the room to go back downstairs to reception to get a key to the new room across the hall. Pretty inconvenient. Why put anyone in that room with a loud party going on? We should have been warned when we checked in the 1st time? A woman was yelling at the front desk because she said she'd been there all week and her 3 kids were unable to use the pool because they keep closing it for private parties. For over $200 a night, you'd like to use the pool...and not have to listen to loud obnoxious parties. The new room, (633) was fine..and quiet! One of the blinds were broken and there was no soap in the shower. Plenty of shampoo/conditioner, but the bottle for body wash was missing. No drawers other than tiny night table ones & only 4 hangers. Lots of surface space. Bed ok. Lighting was poor, I couldn't see to put makeup on. Overall nothing special.
