SureStay Hotel by Best Western Shallotte

Traveled with my spouse and two children. The two queen room was sufficient for our needs for four days. Location was ideal for traveling any direction. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful

It was a clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were really nice and helpful. The walls are thin, could hear the family next door and breakfast was disappointing. When i went down to eat there were waffles and cereal which is better than some places. A quick search and i found a local diner so all was good. would stay here again

Everything was great close to a lot of restaurants. It was only a short drive to the beach. The room was clean and the bed was frsh and clean. I slept like a baby. Would recommend this hotel to my friends going to the beach.

Such a great atmosphere at that hotel. The older lady at the front desk was so kind. I stayed 3 nights and don't remember if I saw her every day but she happily made popcorn and fresh lemonade every afternoon that she was on staff. I enjoyed seeing the carnival type standing popcorn machine and it made the front part of the hotel smell yummy. I stayed on the 3rd floor and it had it's own smell but it was nice, I liked it. The floor was very quiet, maybe that means they put people with pets and little children on other floors. On the morning I checked out, I went to speak to the clerk at the front desk. I told the clerk that my stay there might have been the best stay I've had in more than 20 years, if not the best stay ever.

It was a nice clean hotel even though we cleaned it up again. The walls were a little bit thin which I understand you can't do anything about that. The pool was a little bit small and there was a family that had a bunch of kids and they the pool packed morning and evening, I also understand that you can not make changes. But as a whole we were satisfied. Gave it 4.5 out 5.

My kids & I really enjoyed our stay this week which was safe, quiet, well lit outside, clean and friendly with the entire team at this hotel. They loved having the pool to themselves each time and enjoyed the breakfast selections in the morning. We hope to return again for another visit to this beautiful beach area!

Was good had to cut my stay short because of a family emergency

We booked a 2 queen room as we were traveling. After traveling most of the day we were ready to get to the room and fall asleep. About 10-15 minutes from the hotel, they called us to let us know that while we were booking the room, they gave our booked room to another traveler. They offered us a 1 bed room which was their only option. We made it work for our family, but it was far from ideal.
