The Islander Inn

Beautiful view. On beach. Grandkids loved the indoor pool. Nice staff. Adjoining rooms. Great family inn! Beach walks and kids running on the beach allowed lots of family time and exercise.

Nice beach hotel directly on the water. The rooms are spacious and every room has an excellent view. There are a number of pools to choose from and all the kids had plenty of fun. The breakfast buffet is included. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff are all helpful and friendly. The only negative were the towels and bed linens, which all had stains, even though they were cleaned. They definitely need replacement. Otherwise it was a fun and enjoyable stay.

Perfect stay. The family enjoyed the rooms and the overall atmosphere of the Inn. Will definitely be back next year.

Property was in a great location. Very clean. Only issue is you can hear everything in hallways. We were woken up early both mornings due to kids and doors closing many times. And I mean, we could hear entire conversations. Also it had an adjoining room and you could hear people in their rooms. More muffled room to room, but could still hear. Made it a little uncomfortable.

We had a good stay for one night as we were extending our vacation but the hotel next door was booked for our extra night. Rooms have recently been updated but the construction was lousy. We only were given two towels and a bath mat. No hand towels or rags. We were woken at 5:30 am by kids running and jumping and slamming doors in the room above us. Other than that the place was pleasant and clean with beautiful views of the ocean.

This trip was my third year for outlet girls trip and we have loved every time I am recommending this place to all my friends family and patients

Check in/out was fast and easy. The people who work there are friendly. The first room we were put in the ac didn’t work and water was bubbling up through the floor from the balcony to the front door. They did comp us a nights stay and switch out the room. The second room we were in there was standing water on the balcony from the ac. You couldn’t just go sit and watch the waves without getting wet. We also had a child in a wheelchair and it is not at all wheelchair friendly. You have to go through at least 10 doors to get to the room we were in. Also only one elevator which was near the office. All of the buildings have 5 sets of stairs to get to the second floor. Be ready to get your steps in. It was ok but we won’tbe going there again. For $233 a night it should be a nicer place. They are renovating so hopefully some of that will change. The view is great and would have been awesome if we could’ve enjoyed the balcony.

Everything was wonderful for our one-night family visit. We had a gorgeous oceanfront view. The room was clean. The service was friendly. The only negatives were having 3 towels for 4 registered guests and someone was vacuuming at 11:00 at night. We would stay here again but will request additional towels upon check-in.
