SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tuckahoe Westchester County

2 day trip for family reasons. Hotel was comfortable, but disappointed that the advertised pool was not in service.

I hate having to write this but for the sake of others spending their money here, I need to. We have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past year. Each time has been okay until this time around. Our room was never cleaned by the cleaning staff. We were there from Saturday to the following Friday. We ended up getting ants all over our bathroom. We had to take out our own trash, etc. when we called about the ants and asked for a room change, someone came up with all purpose cleaner to clean the ants (not going to work). Our room was never cleaned the next day nor did we get a room change. On top of all of that, our air conditioner didn’t work and we had two small babies with us. We finally got a box fan but no air conditioner. I don’t recommend staying here for a long period of time. If they put you at the end of the hallway, request an immediate change because the cleaning service will never get to you.

We are so happy to have found a place where we can stay with our family of six in one room! We did have to wait quite a while for extra sheets and blankets for the pull out. The (small) breakfast buffet ran out of several items multiple times and staff didn’t seem to be moving very quickly to refill it, but we do love this hotel.

Very comfortable hotel to stay with children.

The hotel is newer and the room was great. It was clean and the room is large and great when traveling with a family. The staff was nice and it was an easy enough commute into NYC.

Located in an area that we walked around and shopped, local parks the kids played at. Not a bad ride to downtown Manhattan. Suite was spacious and clean.

Our family loved staying at this property. It was clean, quiet and the staff was great.

The staff was helpful and friendly. They helped me find a shopping center so I could get a few last minute items. The room is a great value for a family of 5 with 3 college age kids.

The best part of this hotel was the front desk staff who were very friendly and helpful. What we didn’t like was the lack of privacy when one used the bathroom. Make sure a TV is in or it sounds like they are in the room with you. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were barley more than pillow cases with some stuffing. We had a long night of travel and wanted to sleep in but the cleaning staff spent the better part of the morning yelling to each other from their different rooms. We could here our neighbors conversations and I’m sure when our infant cried they heard him as well. The showers are out dated and in poor taste. Overall I would not recommend staying here especially for the price you have to pay.
