Courtyard by Marriott Yonkers Westchester County

Convenient location to family.

Poor service from front desk and onsite food service staff members. No one at front desk for 10 minutes upon arrival. When needed card key reset, staff member took her time, and paused to chat with another staff member. I travel often for busy and family. I doubt I will ever stay at this hotel ever again. Perhaps this hotel does not need my business.

The room we were given due to its location. We have three kids and they can be a little rowdy but we disnt have to worry about bother ing anyone

We had flight delays and cancellations causing us to cancel one night of our stay. Our delay in arrival was handled courteously and with professionalism by all staff I contacted. Thank you! It made the disastrous beginning of our trip to a family reunion end on a high note!!

They did not honor my reservation! Expedia sent me confirmation and I chose pay when you get there (as I sometimes do). We arrived at 11:30pm and was told there were no more rooms. How frustrating! The hotels overbook in anticipation that some may cancel. We drove 5.5 hours to be told we did not have a room. Initially it seemed like we were just going to be turned away. However, after I asked what can be done, Asia (sp.), front desk associate, began calling around to locate a hotel close by with vacancy to accommodate us. There was not. Not sure what happened but after almost an hour a room became available in the hotel. We needed 2 queens but they only had one king room. We decide to take it since it was so late and my kids and I were exhausted! We would change to a 2 queen room the next day. Well, the next day we waited and no rooms were available by 2:30 pm so we decided to stay in the room we were in. Upon checking out I noticed I was charged for the room change anyway! Ugh! Front desk associate adjusted this and I was credited for the room. Overall our stay was okay.The facility is clean. The parking lot was full each night. The gym was roomy for a hotel gym. Had plenty of cardio machines and some free weights. Staff was helpful and polite. There’s a Starbucks in the hotel. I would stay again but would definitely call the hotel directly to confirm reservation if using a third party like Expedia or Booking.

My children liked the pool and the gym. That makes daddy happy.

This was my first time staying at a Courtyard by Marriott - it was definitely different. My family and I usually stay at the Hampton Inn yet this had a more business-only/adults vibe. The Bistro was nice to have, and the lounge space was good for people who are looking to relax and just enjoy the moment. The pool was not available due to maintenance which was a downside for my son and breakfast was not included in the price of the room. Nice yet I don't think it's for families with children who look forward to pools and breakfast waffles.

My family and I enjoyed the stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone who requests our feedback. Great hospitality and friendly staff. We would stay at this hotel again.

The pool was not small kids friendly it was 4 feet and 6 feet. So my young babies couldn’t get to enjoy it as much

I did not like the check-in process. I was put in a room that has someone smoking there. Even though it was a smoke-free building. It was so bad !!! I shared my concerns, the associate was a nice lady who tried to help and support me, however, the manager on site ( Saturday 09/17/2022 around 8 pm ) was so unprofessional. He said we cleaned it and if you do not like it you can be refunded and look for other places.!!!! I traveled from the west coast and he is telling me this! ( I had my family with two children and was allergic to smoke, so I had to spray perfume and other good smells to overcome the smoke smell. Very unprofessional manager !, He was nice to other families and was serving them as should be .. double standards! Very disappointed !!!!
